Default Need clarification...

I've seen this in a couple of different IP forums, some saying it's ok and some saying it isn't. Has anyone had the Baby Bell cheese wedges while on the first phase of IP? I have some in my fridge from before I started this and don't want it to go bad. I've read that cheese is not allowed, but some have said they've had it with flax seed crackers, but not sure what phase they were on. (I would let it melt in my scrambled eggs, not have it with those crackers). Anyone have any insight on this?

Cheese is not allowed on Phase 1. Sorry... melting it on scrambled eggs sounds good! But cheese will still be there after you reach goal.

No. Cheese is not ok on Phase 1 of Ideal Protein. On eggs or otherwise....

Bummer...

Well, I have to admit, I goofed on Monday and had it in my scrambled eggs, and haven't done it since. I just hope it doesn't affect my weigh in too bad on Sunday. I wish I asked before; now I know I won't do it again...

No cheese on P1.

Just in case someone jumps in and says their coach allows it in place of the skim milk (1 oz/2 tablespoons) allowance for the day, don't do it!

At my initial consultation, after reviewing the P1 sheet I was flabbergasted that I couldn't have some veggies or fruit. When they said I couldn't have cheese I thought, "what is this madness!" lol. I love cheese, especially in scrambled eggs. Never fear, you will have cheese again someday.

Well, I already did... and it was the smallest little bit. After not hitting the dessert table AT ALL on Thanksgiving, I do this. Ugh, I'm so annoyed with myself right now. I haven't cheated at all on this diet...

No worries!

Jump right back on, the worst thing you can do is let this tiny misstep snowball into something bigger.

Just consider the P1 sheet your allowed food bible. If it isn't on the sheet, it is not part of the authentic approved IP allowed foods!

Yes, some coaches make "house rules" either because they aren't adequately trained or feel they know a better way... People "on IP" are the same way, so you will hear all sorts of things! I am not saying right or wrong... But if you want to be 100% IP, then just stick to the sheet. Everyone has to decide for themselves how they want to "do IP" so of course it is up to you.

DO NOT consider this as if you blew it! Start-up is a bit of a learning curve. Go forward from here with new knowledge... Follow the sheet and the weight loss will follow!!!!

Thanx for all the advice, everyone. My boyfriend just texted me, asking if I was going to quit. I told him there's no way I'm backing down from this!
