A former corworker of mine that I passed on the street didn't recognize me. When I stopped her, she said I looked like a completely different person.

Today was a day for compliments! Ten people commented about how good I looked. Wore size 14 boyfriend style jeans and a gray blazer. People told me how proud they were of me, asked me how much I had lost, told me they were jealous, loved my outfit, and could not wait to start IP because I had inspired them. I was amazed, the outfit must have looked good

My hubby tells me "You are looking better every day. I am so proud of you for staying on plan. I don't know anyone else strong enough to do what you are doing."

I've gotten many nice compliments, however, I have to learn to accept them better...I turn beet red

I had a stranger come up to me and say "you are dynamically beautiful"...made my day

I've had co-workers say I'm more open and talkative and smiling a lot. Today another one said I'm looking great. But, the best was a doctor I hadn't seen in awhile (I work at a hospital) and he's like a "Dad" to me, who told me last Friday that I look "beautiful, and much younger!" I love it!

So happy to see all the great compliments that everyone is receiving. Even though we lose weight for ourselves, it is always great to get compliments, right?


My doctor who also specializes in weight loss wanted to know what program I was on and how much it cost when my blood results came back last week at all normal. My med high blood pressure was now normal..my cholesterol was now normal and I was 60 pounds lighter. Not many doctors want to give a clean bill of health..rather they want to put you on meds (that often have nasty side effects).

I just moved to a new town and started a new job, so no one knows how big I was or that I have been on a diet, and one lady made a comment about being able to bring in a heater if we get cold, then said " since your so skinny you'll probably be cold".

Not that it's really a compliment but I have never been called skinny, and comming from some one who has no idea that I didn't always look like this, it was almost shocking.
