[QUOTE=I can do anything;4879744]I just had the share a huge NSV for me. I saw my doctor Wednesday and all he kept saying to me is "impressive" and he had to do a double take when he saw me. I saw him in July right before I started IP. He also had me go for lab draws. Based on the labs he took me off all my medications, cholesterol, BP... I am so happy to be healthy again, all thanks to IP.

Hi Kelsey's,
The most recent IP protocol is 8 oz of protein. For eggs it is 4 eggs and two egg whites is equivalent.

Thanks to everyone that posted, the help was great in deciding which diet I was going to do.
Congrats on starting tomorrow!! Just remember the first few days are the worst as your body goes through carb withdrawal, and then after that you will start feeling better and reaping the rewards of this diet. Great job on the prep work too! Check in and let us know how it is going!!

I would say good luck but on this diet you don't need it, so instead I'll just say have fun and enjoy the journey with us. We are all here for each other.

Cool experience with your doctor! That must have felt great.

I saw my doctor for the first time 2 weeks ago since starting IP last February. She has been my doctor since 2006 and has seen me hover right around 300 pounds the entire time. She has always been gentle but straightforward about my weight and has encouraged me to try to lose just 10 pounds a year. So when I saw her 2 weeks ago, I was 80 pounds lighter than the last time she saw me!!! I was fully expecting her jaw to hit the floor when she saw me. I was looking forward to it! Well she said nothing and there was no reaction on her face! What?! I had to bring it up!! "you know I've lost 80 pounds..." She said "I saw that" I was hoping for a little "party" with her in the exam room. It was very disappointing!

NSV: Popped some tags today...new-to-me coat (Talbots), Ann Taylor dress and Talbots pants, all for under $70.
All look new or barely worn.

Stalled? For how long?
A true stall would be at least 4 weeks of no scale or measuring tape change.

What have you all done to shake things up? I will NOT give up.
If you have lost 3/4", you haven't stalled. Measurement is not only scale, it is also measuring tape. Sometimes the inches come off spots not being measured...
Remember...we didn't gain it overnite...

My former doctor was a jerk like that too.
Note: former.
Lost me as a customer...er...patient over that. I expect better treatment than that, especially from someone who had talked to me about my weight more than once...
Remember, these people aren't doing us a favor being our doctors. We are the customers. We can find someone with more compassion/empathy.

Already the drama has started, send me positive vibes ya'll I'm gonna need it!

Days like these are my hardest, I struggle to maintain control of my emotions and my eating. Anxiety is a trigger for me, and spirals into eating junk because my brain thinks it will soothe.

I'm going to prepare my lunch bag as normal and hope for the best.
Hi nolasmurf - gosh, I'm sorry that you have to deal with such stressors, what a bummer. I hope you are able to muscle through and not have too much stress on your place. Fingers crossed. Take care of yourself!

Good luck on Day #1 - you can do it! You sound very prepared in all ways. You got this! We're here if you need any support. Remember, take it day by day. There's no rush!

Had my first weigh in on Tuesday and was down 9.7lbs on Ideal Protein. So happy! I cannot seem to wipe this smile off my face. This weekend plan to try making muffins or cooking using the oatmeal or the pudding. How do I get a profile picture to upload, and a ticker, won't work for me.

You just be proud of yourself, good on you, your doctor should have been pleased.

PLUS...this morning, my daughter told me I looked skinny! That's a lot coming from a 16 year old girl. I know I'm not skinny, yet, but it's nice to know that people are finally noticing my hard work!

Feeling pretty good this morning! Hope it carries on all weekend long.
I am similar weight and losses yes, so it does feel good when friends, family and coworkers start seeing changes in your size. I cheer you on for the weekend.
