Weighed in this AM, I'm .2lbs away from goal! Wahooo!
|
Down 2.2.... not going to make it, but the challenge has really helped to keep me honest. My loses are slow - BOO!

You're doing great! Everyone loses at a different speed AND you don't have much to lose. Celebrate those losses...that is weight you don't have to lose again! |
I made it!! Actually surpassed it! What a nice Christmas gift to myself!

Thanks for the encouragement, Lisa! Some days I need that more than others. You're right (of course) a loss is a loss! |

Since this challenge is almost over, any ideas for the next? 10-15 lbs by vday perhaps? I love these challenges. Keep me motivated and it's nice to focus on smaller losses rather than the big picture.

Or 25 by first day of Spring, which is about 11 weeks from January 1?
Spring is such a hopeful time... |

I won't be home til the 3rd or I'd start it (ipad not so cooperative for setting IP challenge spreadsheet) but I'd be happy to start it then.
My goal is my birthday (March 11). DH thinks I'll get there. I know no matter how long it takes, I'll get there. Easter isn't til April 20, which is sort've long for a challenge. St Patty's Day & first day of Spring fall in the same week, which would be 11 weeks from Jan 1. Approx 10-12 weeks has worked out really well for challenges. I'll be "in" for the next one as I'm breaking the stall/heading back to p1 after my return home following our coast-to coast adventure. I loved the challenges, although my "turtleness" never quite got me to meet deadlines, I still found them very motivating |
