On Sunday, I made WW Garden Veggie soup, but I stuck with only the allowed veggies. Yummmmmm!

I just got a vitamix and have been having a lot of fun trying different veggie soups. The puree thread has lot's of fun ideas. I tried some of those, and then have branched off, and just kept trying new things. My favorite is cauliflower, green onion, mushrooms, 1-2 ounces of chicken, and chicken broth. So good, but I love creamy soups!

The Vitamix recipe sounds yum!

I can't have any of the soup packets due to soy. I thought I'd share evepet's blog where she made her own:

Super simple but yummy...turnips, celery and zucchini in chicken broth. If I want it for dinner I add chicken.

Is all chicken broth ok or should I be looking for low fat/low sodium?

I make my own but if you are buying, I'd look for fat-free or lowfat.
Remember it would be a 0/0/0 addition so fat-free would be best.

You also have to be careful, because some add sugar to them. I make sure the carb count is down. I've also used bullion granules since those seemed to have less carbs and fat.

Ok, I know this is probably a dumb question, but how do you make your own?
