Good morning all. Hope everyone has a great on plan week.
I have been sick this weekend first time since I started IP. Managed to stay 100%.
Before I started feeling badly I was able to spend some quality time with my brand new Vitamix which was my present for losing fifty pounds! I have several low carb soups in single servings frozen up just waiting for P4 lunches. Four weeks away gotta be prepared not scared that is my plan.

Good morning, everyone!

It is freezing here! I had a dream last night I woke up and there was snow. The good news, I tried on an old fall jacket that I haven't worn in years and was surprised that it's actually a little too big for me. But it will do because I refuse to buy a new one at this point. I also have some really cute winter jackets from when I did IP in 2010, I was able to get them on and done up but they are very tight in my arms and allow minimal range of motion. Hope I fit into them comfortably in the next few weeks/months.

I hope everyone has a great OP week. Another busy day at work for me!

Congrats on the NSV susie

I have refocused on the basics of IP for these last few weeks of September before I move into phase 3. So I am extra careful about measuring everything (had gotten slack in measuring my veggies and oil), and it seems to have worked. Finally saw the scale drop firmly into new "decade" this weekend.

I encourage those of you who see a bit of stall, to go back to the basics and essentially try starting over. Measure and track everything. Also reread the labels of your nonIP items to ensure they fall into protocol.

I encourage everyone to stick with it - you can do this!!

You, and I, deserve this

I've been shopping 2nd hand shops for winter coats. I found one but I'm still looking for a second for more inclement weather.

I put on a shirt this morning that had hugged my stomach so much I quit wearing it...it didn't touch me! My trainer does my measurements monthly so I can't wait to be measured the end of this week and see what this plan has done on top of the 11 lbs!

Hi all. Still in Alabama but will be packing up to head home today.im a bit ready but not ready. Spent some time this weekend with a friend who has lost 140 lbs in the last year. He's had thyroid issues and other things but has lost his weight eating sensibly and doing a modified high protein low carb. We talked about diets fatigue and a lot of great things. He does a 60/20/20 p,an . 60% protein 20% veggies and 20% carbs. And he eats all his protein first then his veggies then the carbs but 90 % of the time by then he's full. Since all the resturants here seemed to not know what veggies are I followed his lead at meals. I don't think I gained but I don't think I lost. We'll see on Thursday. Alcohol was the down fall . I drank a lot but for every drink I had a glass of water. Once I get home it will be back to 100% OP. I'm not telling you all this to be fussed at or condone or validate my weekend. I'm saying it to be accountable for my actions.

Here's to hoping everyone has a good week!

Morning everyone - after a long two weeks of battling TOM, my body has still prevailed and the scale showed a -2.9 this morning! So that was a nice way to start my day.. Hope everyone has a wonderful OP day

Hi everyone!
I am excited to start day 4! But I'm pretty sure this is my slump day, I am so stinking tired! I am excited though, because now I have some WF dressings, so I don't feel like I'm strictly a rabbit. I was surprised by how much I didn't mind the taste of at least the ranch one... I am still trying to decide on how I felt about the Honey Dijon one.
My goal is to stay 100% on goal, and I got rid of all of my non IP approved food that was in my apartment.
I'm also trying to stay away from the scale until my WI on Friday, but it's super tempting to just hop on....

Best luck and encouragement to everyone today! You are great! You can't change the past, you don't know what the future holds, so just focus on right now, and making positive decisions so that you can have a brighter tomorrow!

That's wonderful!

I'm on Day 2 of TOM, and I'm really paying attention to how my body is reacting to the IP program. Normally this is a time I crave and eat lots of carbs. Not this time, don't even want them. I also get very crampy and bloated and again, not this time. I do have a VERY heavy flow though, more than usual.

My body is adjusting very well to low carb, I am thinking clearer, sleeping better and my mood is more even. I feel like I'm "rolling with the punches" much more easily. This is good news for DH and kiddos!

Then this morning I slipped into a pair of size 14 slacks very easily! I'm having a great Mon already. Hope you all do too. Blessings......

I love your enthusiasm, AliExpat! I felt the same way when I finally got my tracker. (Your tracker is almost identical to mine- good choice!)

It was some sort of validation that I belonged to this great group. It is also just a great visual of how well the process is going. I think we need our little pats on the back to keep going.

The first thing I do in the morning after checking my emails is to go to this site - it gives me a bit of support to walk a little taller and stronger through the day.

Hi everyone! I hope you are all off to a great week

Question - a friend of mine is interested in trying IP but she has a severe nut allergy, and when she eats soy in high doses, she has an allergic reaction to that as well. Lisa, I know you had issues with soy as well. Does anyone know if IP is nut allergy friendly? Alternatively, does anyone have an ingredient list? Some of the ones formerly posted on the forum are deactivated. Thanks!
