Default Hello - Introducing Myself!

Hello Fellow IPers! I have been lurking for sometime and have finally decided to post. I'm Lisa (another one) and I want to thank all of you for the helpful information and insight you provide on these boards. I wanted to say hello and start sharing my journey with all of you as well. I started IP on 04/13/13 and am about 10 lbs away from my goal. I love this diet and I am certain it will be my last!

Welcome and congratulations! I lurked for a long time before I started posting too. It took a big leap to make that first post, and now I feel right at home on these boards. Keep moving forward to your goal!

Thanks! I have some ideas, but I still need help too! I have a weigh in tonight and I don't think I'm going to be reporting much of a loss. I've been experiencing the big C for the first time on this diet and boy am I hurting!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to battle the big c monster??? I've been eating lots of fiber. I'm wondering if my new calcium/magnesium (non IP/Natura brand) are to blame.

I've had the same problem. My coach put my on a magnesium citrate supplement, in addition to the potassium-magnesium I was already taking. I don't take the cal-mag, because my blood test showed that my calcium levels were slightly higher than normal.

I've been taking 2 of the magnesium citrate before bed, as instructed, but today my coach told me that I can start adding 2 in the morning also, if the 2 at night aren't doing enough.

I just posted something on another thread...Mg Citrate capsules helped me. If you look up my posts...it was one I did earlier this afternoon. Good luck..that is NO FUN. I had to take action before a trip for a wedding out of state in May and this solved it for me...I also had switched my Ca supplement and finally connected the two...and went back to the program supplement for that reason.

Welcome and congrats on the success so far. Can't say enough about how Smooth Move tea helps me. It doesn't erase the cause but does help get things moving for me. I am one who actually enjoys the taste of the regular but I have seen that there is a chocolate flavored one that people seem to like.

Thanks everyone! I may try the Smooth Move tea. For now, I am increasing my iceberg intake and taking sugar-free Metamucil. I'm hoping something happens and SOON!

You might want to consider darker green lettuce. Iceberg d
Is essentially just water with not much fiber to it. Good luck!

Romaine is my go-to and keeps me moving right along. Nothing else seems to do the trick quite like it. If things slow, I just increase romaine & all is well soon.
