Default Trouble with the chocolate pancake...ideas? Advice?

Good Morning all...my breakfast was a bit of a disaster this morning. I have had the regular pancake a couple times already and it's fried up nicely in a pan with a tad of evoo. Not so with the chocolate one! I ended up wasting two packets! Not real impressed! Waste of money! It seemed very watery (I used 150ml first time, then just over 100ml the 2nd time) and it did not rise into a pancake at all- just stayed chocolate mush. Impossible to flip or anything. Did I get a dud box of packets? Or whats the deal???

It is very thin, I usually use less water and let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken up a little, but really my preferred use for this is to make muffins, less water and add one egg white.

I also preferred to make a muffin using the instructions on the package and cooking it in the microwave.
