Thumbs up

Welcome. I also am a newbie. I am starting week 3 and I am down 10lbs. My biggest tip would be to stay creative. After about day 3, I was in tears at dinner looking at my veggies and having to force them down my throat. It was then that I joined this group and began experimenting with the recipes. I have found many things to try and that alone has kept me motivated.

Plus, my pants are all loose in the waist! Best motivation ever!!!

Good Luck!

Maxxy and Alluregirl,

Once you have been in this forum for awhile, you will find many suggestions for great creativity with the food.

LizzRR has a veggie puree thread. I love the asparagus puree and add it to my soups or have it as a side with my lunch/supper.

Lisa32989 (I think that's her moniker) has a great suggestion for a morning smoothie: the ready to drink chocolate drink, 2 cups of spinach, a few cubes of frozen coffee (plus I add a bit of stevia) == it is absolutely delish!

there is a thread of recipes from lamberjules that are fabulous.

Look to the first post of Lisa32989's Daily Chat thread for some excellent links!

looking forward to staying connected!

xo

Stick with it!
It's going to be hard on day 3 & 4. Don't give up, power through it, and you'll be fine.

I was physically ill on day 3 & most of day 4. Once I hit day 5 I felt amazing!

Good luck!

My coach is ok with me putting lemon or lime in my water. Best to ask your coach to be sure. They vary.

I use the true lemon or true lime packets.

Awesome job! I am just starting IP as well. Luckily I already drink tons of water and I love everyone's points about cheating. My weakness is chocolate at work, but knowing that one piece will undo a ton of hard work will help me resist!

before IP i had to have a daily chocolate....and since i've been on the protocol...i've not even given it a second thought. So the desire for sweet things does go away it seems. HOWEVER, i haven't hit my TOM yet since starting, im hoping my hormones dont bugger me up!
