Wow, Lisa, what time do you get up every day? You open the thread before I can even remember to check in. My little one got me up at 5:40 this morning. After going to bed late due to VBS and a night filled with night mares, this mama is a bear today. Wishing everyone else an "bear free" OP day!
Good morning everyone , the sun is shining and its going to be a great day
Today is my last WI for Phase 3 and on to Phase 4 which I guess is life LOL .
No troubles with the last phase and Im making great choices. Weight has stayed the same so i cant ask for any more .
Enjoy your day everyone . Time to go riding for me
***Oh and I love my skinny jeans ****
I've recommended IP to about 5 people, after they inquired what I was doing.
No one has taken the bait yet
Oh well. I guess it is for those who want it, rather than those who need it
AND it took me 8 months to start after I found out about it
Happy Days!!! This is the morning of day 5 for me, and I am officially in ketosis according to a dark pink ketostix. Yay!
I told a friend at work about IP and how great I'm feeling with my clothes already fitting better after a few days. She's thinking about joining IP now. Would love to have her for a buddy.

Very happy for you & your friend
Lisa, I love what you wrote. It is so true.
I've told several people about IP also, and none of them started either. There was a common theme of "I can't do that because..." Of course none of them have lost any weight, but continue to complain about needing to lose.
I'm so glad I decided to try IP last year, instead of doing nothing. I wasn't sure if I would be able to stick to it for very long because it was so restrictive, but I did want to stick with it.

Many have asked but only this one has taken the plunge into it. She has been sitting on the information for several months.
I concur with Lisa and Ragdoll - I always hear "I can't do that because..." People have to find their own "Rock Bottom" place
Good morning everyone. I too have also wanted to tell everyone about IP because I believe it is an AMAZING program and know what it feels like to struggle with WL, but not everyone is at the same point as us with their weight loss journey; they may complain, but they’re not ready to doing anything about it. I have been fighting this struggle for years and finally I found something that works for me. I didn’t give up and I kept asking GOD for help. This morning I thought to myself this is not just about weight loss - it is a REPROGRAMMING for me, of course weight loss is a BIG benefit, but before I started IP I kept thinking that I need something that will give me guidance on what to eat - I needed an outline and plan of attack to change my eating habits. IP has changed my thinking and my obsession with food – it has made me stronger and this forum and all of you guys!! Every morning I can get on here and read your post and you guys encourage me and inspire me and you are fighting the same struggle as me. You guys have also come so far and are so passionate about this and that is what I need to keep going, so I thank you all for being here.
Anyways Congratulations to everyone with their losses and good luck to everyone with a WI. I too have my WI today. Have a GREAT day!!

Sister-in-law/brother-in-law both doing alternates and having good success. They're the only ones who've taken the plunge. While DW and I aren't drinkers it seems that all of our friends are and the "no alcohol" seems to be a non-starter for most.

LOL - I agree. I leave the "no alcohol" until the very end. They are so interested until I tell them that they can't have their beer or glass of wine until they have reached maintenance. After they hear that they laugh and say no way.

I always find that funny & a little sad when people take objection to the no alcohol rule. Of all the things we can't have on IP, alcohol was not something I had a problem giving up.
A lot of people have asked me as well. Right now, I have at least 3 people that I know are following it using the alternatives. Another 8 or so people have asked, but have not told me if they have started or not (so probably not). Mostly people asked in the beginning then said no way. Then after seeing the quick results, they are taking another look. It is a lot of hard work with so much temptation around, but it is worth it with the amount of self esteem I have gotten back.
I no longer want to avoid places because I might run in to someone I used to know when I was skinnier. And I must say, am in a much better mood most of the time now as well.
Good Morning to all! It rained all day yesterday here in Iowa so I did not walk and felt sluggish all day so today it is suppose to rain again so I just decided if I get wet I get wet and took off got my 4 miles in and Yay it did not rain and I feel great! With this site, my IP diet and walking I know I will reach my goal. Thanks to all of your tips and letting me just babble on. Have a great day!
