Question Conflicting advice from coaches

I do not feel very hungry during the day. My coach told me it would be fine to skip the 2 cups of vegetables that I would normally have for lunch and eat them a few hours after dinner. I have been doing well this way, usually having them raw as a snack around 7 p.m. Another coach (where I work) says this is not allowed and that we should follow the suggested plan exactly. I have been averaging a 3.4 lb loss each week, so I didn't think there was a problem. Ideas?

I'd regularly change up when I had my veggies with no noticeable changes in my losses. Sometimes I'd have 2 cups with lunch, sometimes I'd have all 4 cups of my veggies with my dinner, sometimes I'd bring my 4 cups with me and snack on them throughout the day. I've never noticed any changes regardless of when I ate them. Hope this helps!

I've split my veggies up throughout the day many times, and have still lost. I don't think it really matters when you eat them, as long as you get all of them in. Do what works best for you!

I was told that it doesnt matter when you eat it as long as you get it all in. Ive had veggies in my ip omlets in the am or spinach in a ip vanilla shake.

More or less it doesn't matter... however, having all 4 cups at once is probably NOT the best option. Then you are getting one big hit of carbs at one time. Granted, depending on your choice of veggies, that may not be a lot of carbs, but spreading them out is ultimately better. Though IP says 2 cups x 2 times per day, I agree that spreading them more doesn't seem to affect weight loss. I like veggies in my omlette and I often save a cup for dessert when I have rhubarb.

I think ur doing fine! I have learned over the past 8+ months that coaches will say all kinds of wild things. As long as you have ur veggies each day u are doing ok.
