First day comments.
First, M35A2, great self control. Wow, after all this time.
So, to report on day 1, because I need accountability. Did it right thus far. 2 protein shakes, 1 protein bar, broccoli at lunch (will never ever take it raw again... it sucked, and it was hard to get down). For dinner, 2 salmon patties from Costco, no real additives, 8 oz. And 2 cups of mushrooms, measured before cooking. Day 1 out of the way. Will report again if I struggle during the first week. Great forum. |
just remember salmon is once per week

Salmon
Uhhhgg. You are right. Did not notice that. Well maybe I will have it be a weekly tradition, assuming I survive the week.:dizzy:

Amount of Carbs or Protein per day.
Sorry to dominate the thread. I was wondering whether there was a protein or carb gram amount that they want you to reach or not exceed each day? Is there some number the coaches tell you? Day 2 went well. But I had a lot of yard work, and had an extra protein snack.
Previously in this thread, one of you said they were 19 and 0 for cheating. I think it is very wise to give yourself the momentum of keeping track. Today carbs all around me. Very tempted to take a piece of glazed chicken from the table. Almost rationalized one scrap, but remembered the advice. Not one slip up. 1 and 0. :carrot::carrot: |

M35A is an iron-man when it comes to this! You're on day 3, (that was my hardest) your body is out of easy to get sugar stores and says to your brain, don't make me go after fat-cells for energy I am to tired to do that and I have been storing them for years and I might have forgotten how to get them out of storage and says to your will 'EAT SOME BREAD and DO THIS LATER!' Keep in control, keep your eye on the prize. And remember nothing taste better then skinny. |
GoBears
Gobears, so when did you start? You look great.

How Long? started Jan 2, 2013 The total number of days between Wednesday, January 2nd, 2013 and Thursday, June 6th, 2013 is 155 days. This is equal to exactly 5 months and 4 days. 155 days is equal to 22 weeks and 1 day. The total time span from 2013-01-02 to 2013-06-06 is 3,720 hours. This is equivalent to 223,200 minutes. You can also convert 155 days to 13,392,000 seconds. Never thought I could give up the booze, or stick to something this long!:sklol: |

Last 2 weeks of P1 and it finally happened - 0 pounds lost. At least there was no gain. Inches were down everywhere except waist which was .5" gain. This points to the antibiotics and resulting Bigger Than Normal Big C (with bloating). I'm hoping if that breaks there will be a big whoosh and I can make it up for the final P1 WI next Friday. No complaints about the loss - inches are probably more important the pounds, but I was really hoping to hit goal before moving to P2.

www.myfitnesspal.com It will be especially helpful if you are doing this sans coach! It has a huge data base of everyday foods that you can check and/or record and gives you fairly numbers. |

Looks like I have four more WI on P1 myself. I have to have 3lbs/week loss to get to my goal, and I am starting to see that I could have shot for 5 more lbs in my goal to be closer to my optimum weight. I am wanting to start excercising more heavily and seeing if I can sustain this, so I am going to push for my dates and be close to my goal vs obsess about the scale. I am already 120% more healthy than I was. |
