Also you should pack out the packets. When I'm hungry I eat Finn Stevens french toast. It's great with WF pancake syrup.
Plain omelette mix/I use cheese omlette because I can't get plain omelette mix! Add a little water to mix the powder into a paste. Finely grate half a courgette/zucchini, I then pick up the mound of zucchini and squeeze the excess liquid down the drain, add the grated veg to your omelette mix. Add 2 egg whites and beat until all blended. Pour small amounts onto a hot pan and brown each side. You will get 3/4 good sized eggy/pancake pieces. Delicious, has saved me many times. Good luck!

I don't think I can add to anyone else's comments about the 1st week. It sucks and is a great reminder not to cheat. Who wants to go through that again??
My husband and daughter get pizza every Friday, that is their routine and I wouldn't ask them to change for me. Did the 1st few weeks suck???ABSOLUTELY!!! I went from anger to pity parties to now, 14wks?? later??
Last night was pizza night, the boxes were right next to me while I made scallops and veggies for me. Of course I would have loved to have a piece, but the desire, want, need....was not there. Period. Did it look and smell yummy?? Yes. But so did my scallops and rutabaga fries.
Your tastes will change as you go on too. I swear I can't really remember what mashed potatos and FF's taste like, I am so used to my cauliflower and rutabaga so now I crave them.
The only person you will be hurting and disappointing is yourself. GL!!

I don't know if I would have made it without my restricted bars. It helps keeps me in line all day looking forward to that at the end of the day. Not that they are that great, but as a sweetaholic it sure is nice to have something. Hope today goes better for you.

I agree!! Now instead of coming home from work and scarfing up left over pizza (I work evenings) I have salt and vinegar crisps or the peanut or choco soy puffs. I look forward my treat when I get home and can relax!!

They also help with the mental mindset as the brain needs a bit of carbs to function correctly. I can't quote directly because I don't remember where I saw it but there was a video from one of the international IP directors and he said that is why they include the daily restricteds because it is necessary for brain function.

I had been maintaining since April but am now back on phase 1 because of a very merry December. When I phased off and was in maintenance and out of ketosis I found the habit I had developed of one treat a day with the restricted helped tremendously. I was able to pick something I liked, such as a bit of chocolate and knew that was it. Whatever treat I had planned for and no more. That habit was very ingrained from having my one restricted at the same time everyday for all of the months I was on phase 1.
I am like Ninja in that my hard time is when I come in from work. I am so hungry and would just grab whatever was there. But having the restricted and a cup of coffe was great then as I went about preparing our healthy evening meal.

I hate when some coaches think they know more than the developers and start jigging the protocol.

This sounds good. Might make for lunch today. Don't have zucchini though. Will have to think of something else to use.....

Interesting. I am in week 4 and haven't tried a restricted yet. Didn't realize I was really missing anything! Maybe next week, I will try something. I just really like the RTDs and cappuccino drinks.

Me too. I tried two of the soups (barf...mainly because of texture) and decided the RTDs are fine. I eat plenty of crunchy vegetables at lunch and dinner to accommodate my need to chew. But if I try anything else, it will probably be some kind of chocolate bar. Or maybe the salt and vinegar whatchamacallits.

I think I need the tough love too! I had great info from a lot of ppl on the plan. I am returning back to the program because I lost a few pounds and that was ok for the occassion. But bc I do not have a coach I will try to keep myself accountable. Wish me luck, please feel free to email and pm me suggestions
