great going everyone! So my WI today showed -4.8 :)

They said my water is down but I don't know how that could be when I have been drinking 4+L a day.

Hi all,

I just joined and added myself to the spreadsheet, I hope that's ok! So I put in what my current weight is and then zeros for the weigh ins that are not applicable to me (because they are already past), is that how I'm supposed to do this? Sorry for the late addition, but I really want to join the party!

Thanks,
Sam

Oh! One more question. My official weigh in day for every week is Wednesday morning. Can I update the post then?

Nibblet 03-19-2013 11:31 AM

Good-bye more lbs!

I do my updates on my WI day, so it's Fridays for me. I'm sure you can update on your WI day. You can put zeros in if you like on your row for missing weeks where you had not started yet, unless you were already started with IP and happen to know what your losses were. If you do have those numbers, I see no harm putting them in even if you started the 30 by Mother's Day group just now. I say a loss is a loss :-) and needs counted! I did not start this thread, but I'm sure however it helps you the most to account for the weeks is fine. Nice to have you here :)

Thanks halfagain! I will do that. I have my second official weigh in tomorrow, so hopefully there will be good news! Amazingly I'm starting to enjoy IP and how it makes me feel! Woot!

breezie68 03-20-2013 02:26 PM

Whew! Had a woosh this week (much needed), and lost 8 lbs, which puts me at 50% goal halfway through.

Welcome! Yes, you can update on your weigh in day. My official weigh in day is Wednesday, too. I update the sheet right after I get home from my WI.

Small whoosh this week--3.2 pounds! So my total loss since the challenge began is 13.8 pounds. Even if I don't quite make it to 30 by Mother's Day, I'll still happy with my losses. :)

Great job all.

Flying causes fluid rentention? How weird. Do you know why? I have never heard that before...you learn something new everyday, I guess!

I'm not sure why, so I looked it up. They say long flights and physical inactivity. I flew from Seattle to Atlanta (and back) and boy are my arms tired! (oops sorry bad joke there) http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/187978.php Anyway 5 hours pinned in the window seat must be what they are talking about. That bag under the seat ahead of me made it so I couldn't really even stick my feet out and the guy sitting next to me of course has his knee over in my space. LOL one guy was falling asleep and falling over onto me. Anyway consider these observations about why I didn't flex and move - not complaints. It was a horrible ordeal when I weighed 100+ lbs more the time I flew before IP.

4Mom 03-21-2013 01:13 PM

WI today says another 3.2lbs gone!!! :carrot::carrot: :D

shoediva 03-21-2013 02:26 PM

I lost 4 pounds officially at my week 2 weigh in! Woot! :D
