Howdy everyone! I am back from my Ob/Gyn appointment and everything is 100% healthy and progressing nicely. I am actually 1 week further along than I thought - instead of 8 weeks, 2 days along I am measuring 9 weeks, 1 day - I got to see the little fluttering heartbeat on the ultrasound and everything looked good. I was wondering why I seemed to be getting symptoms so much earlier! Dr. also reconfirmed that my running and weightlifting were 100% okay to continue since it's been an established routine for 4+ months now. I am so glad that I was able to get healthy and active before conceiving!

I am driving out to Houston in a few hours with my son for a baby shower. Staying with my mom at the hotel - doing my best to 'hide' the evidence! I was going to wait until I was 10 weeks along to tell the folks, so looks like instead of a 2 week holdout I only have 1 more week to go...

Happy Friday everyone. I am ready for the weekend to arrive fast. I had a hard adjustment at my chiropractor this morning, it was necessary but has put my head, knee and back into a tail spin. I may have to resort to tylenol to get through the day. Tonight I'm going to a friend's for dinner. She has a homemade spagetti sauce, I'm bringing my own zucchini noodles to go with it and salad dressing for the salad she is making. I'll have my water with MIO and they'll have wine. Very supportive friends so it is a comfortable situation to do my own thing and she accommodates where she can as well.

Tomorrow I plan on a power shopping day because I've been away or too busy to do this since before Christmas. I have a bunch of misc stops to do but really really need clothes. I'm down to 1 pair of pants for work, 1 pair of pants I can get away with still but look sloppy in and 1 skirt (note its minus -35 here today so NO WAY am I wearing a skirt). I also only have 1 pair of jeans and 1 yoga pant for weekend wear. So bottoms are required ASAP. I think I'll hit up Talbots first but need to keep an open mind now that I could go into any store and find things that fit. I hope I haven't planned out too much to do because I'm still getting over this round of a cold.

My hubby likes to listen to country so I've got that song in my head "Is it Friday yet, is the weekend here? Is it time to kick things off with an ice cold.... cup of Mango RTD drink..." Okay-- the country version rhymes better. But who cares! IT's FRIDAY! WOOOOOT WoooooT!!!

Cheers my friends (clinks any RTD shake of choice or some nice ice water with MIO) Here's to a good weekend of chattin' and chewin' the fat (or the rutabegga fries! )

I'm gonna start cooking too -- and if DH touches my pancakes again.... grrr....

I plan to cook up my box of rotini and then freeze it in bags. I'm going to have rotini alfredo this week, cold rotini/veg salad for lunch with WF Italian dressing, and maybe Rotini/Tuna salad with the WF mayo

Too bad I'm only havin' ROtini and no MARtini .... oh well! As long as I GET TEENIE that is all that matters LOL

Sorry, wish I could help but I have no idea. The only way I know to turn on and off my french accent is by adding "Le" to a word...as in "LE SIGH" and "LE JOY!" (thanks Rainbow) As for your problem...I hope you get help from soneone who knows more than me...Le Sigh...

Darn I had this problem and I can't remember how I fixed it. It was on my new computer which has windows 8 on it (which is a nightmare in itself). I am back on my notebook with windows 7.

Oh I see it here, not sure if it is on every computer. Down at the bottom where the icons are for sound etc; there is a tiny square thing . On a closer look I see is a tiny icon of a keybord. If you click on that you have options. I thought Canadian Multiligual Standard would be best option but it's not, it gives the funny accents. So I clicked on US international and that works.
Hope you can find it.
