I am happy to have loss but was honestly expecting a different (more) weight loss. I don't *think* I am cheating but maybe need to start watching my vegetable choices/amounts?

I also have a question about Splenda. How many packets can I have per day? I can ask my coach but won't see her until next week. I am currently having up to 12 per day (2 cups of coffee with 3 packets and then up to 2 cups of decaf hot tea with 2-3 packets). Prob too much even if I am not on IP!!!

Thanks!
Yes, 12 is too much!!!

The FDA can claim '0' if something contains 4 or less calories or .9999 grams of carbs. I count each packet of Splenda as 1 carb.

Having 12 packets in 1 day is similar to having an extra resricted...and you don't even get the benefit of the extra protein!!! LOL

Cut way back and see what happens

The longer I dont have wine or another drink (vodka & tonic), the less I want it. It would be ideal to never drink again, since I could put those calories and carbs into eating chocolate ,once in maintenance of course!

12 is waaaaay! too many I have only 2 a day

The wine has been easy this last week and definitely sticking to 2/3 times of serious work outs (dance/tennis) a week is sort of got me in the right direction.

Sigh, we can do it!

Same here. It's all about choices. When it comes down to it, I think I'm going to want to put my calories into *real* food vs. empty calories from alcohol! And yes, it's definitely gotten easier the longer I'm on IP.

Yes Ladies I'm right there with you !
These last pounds have been slow to come off for me too!
It does 'nt help having people tell you not to lose anymore weight.
I was told a Man Don't Want No Bone by a coworker...I HAVE HEARD that before and was not offended in the least .
But I feel I have to diet in secret now so I don't get unsolicited advice on how much weight I need to or not need to lose.
It's hard to keep the momentum up when people are telling you stop!
But I plan to push forward and pass my goal just because I can
See you Ladies AT GOAL!!!

I am definitely in the "pound a week" club at this stage - it can be so tempting to call it done, but I know I can push on to goal with a little patience. At least I can still say that some weight is coming off every single week!!!

My coach told me one (!) a day is allowed.

I feel everyone's pain, trust me! I have lost 8 pds in the last 5 months. Frustrating as all get out! I did post earlier about this and received a lot of great suggestions. One person suggested taking a break- I did that over the holidays for a few days....Maybe i should just continue to eat right and keep my protein intake up. I think one thing for me is the weekly weigh ins are so frustrating I am going to cut back to twice a month. I can't stand the thought of going in there every week and only losing half a pound. The first couple of month on the program I lost an avg of 6 pounds/month.

I suggested this in your other thread, but am going to post it again. Ask your coach whether it wouldn't be good to temporarily switch to Phase 3 for a week or so. Then go back to P1. It increases your calorie intake for a week, but in a controlled way. It's worked for me and others.

I was stalled for a few weeks in the low 160s and doing this got my weight loss moving forward again. Thankfully!

Edited - apologies for the duplicate. I thought I was doing an 'edit'.... guess it's been a tough afternoon!

I do know that if I keep on truckin' then the scale will eventually reflect it with a lower #.
I've recently added vibracize sessions, as I'm intriqued by all the benefits it (supposedly) gives. I can tell that it's helping me tone up. But the weight is staying the same. This morning's weigh-in on my Omron full body compostion scale did show an increase in muscle % though, so hopefully increased muscle is the reason for the current stall on the scale.

Psychologically, despite still wanting to get down to 145 eventually, I do feel that I look quite good at this weight (apart from some remaining belly flab) and sometimes I feel like my negative twin is sitting on my shoulder whispering that I don't really 'need' to get lower. So far the more motivated half of me is staying on purpose and ignoring her.
Is vibracize the machine you stand on, it vibrates and you do stretches? My coach has one and I'm starting it next week. Odd machine but they say it will really help me tone....

Yes, that's it! I know it sounds odd, but it is really helping to tone me up. And it feels like such minimal effort. I love it. You do a series of exercises on it, a lot of them are stretches of various types. But nothing is strenuous. It's great that your coach has one and endorses this way of exercise.
