Hubby's birthday today. Yes I brought yummy stuff for him, but I didn't have time to make any of it from scratch. Lucky for me they sell 1/2 cakes so it will be here 1/2 as long. We went to Red Lobster for lunch, I had the sole cooked dry and broccoli.. and a nakid salad. It was so on plan, I was quite proud of myself. I am going to go order some WF salad dressing packets once I post this. I've been out a while and while the RL salad was wet and fresh, sometimes I order salads and they come dry and need dressing.
Barely catching up - had a great time at The Cotton Bowl - The Ags were totally rocking it! I was calling it a cheat night and did indulge in some Cowboys Stadium food, but something did NOT agree with me and I ended up getting food poisoning last night! Oh well...lesson learned!
Sorry to hear you got sick from a cheat night. Maybe they aren't we hope they will be!

I was thinking about her this week too but haven't found her on any of the threads. Hope she checks in soon.
I'm having an up and down day. Started out feeling much better but still took some tylenol for a head/ear ache. My first destination was a massage where she did full body to help clear out some of the "sick" toxins. Started to feel a little woozy getting off the bed like my head was stuffed up and didn't like being sideways. I took a 10-minute walk to a Starbucks to get a drink for myself and my hair stylist, then had my hair appointment (cut and colour so about 2 hours sitting). By the time I left, I felt so tired like I had been running all day already but I had done almost nothing. I had to do my shopping still because I really needed groceries. 2 cycles around Costco because I couldn't find what I needed the first time, then a trip to another grocery store for a couple remaining items. I got tons of veggies, salmon and chicken to last me the week. But by the time I got home, I was bone dead tired. I wouldn't let myself sit until I got dinner into my new Actifry. Now I think I need to just sit back for the evening because I don't feel well again. This is a nasty virus so if you have, take time to get over it because it takes very little effort for it to come back.
Rainbow, hope you are starting to feel better today.
Mompattie, sounds like you're having a great trip so far. Hope your list is coming along. I did a similar one too but I'm not sure if I'm ready to post it yet. I was sick when I wrote it so I need to make sure it reads okay when I'm better.
Thanks! It's going awesome!! 1000% OP, I find travelling soooo easy for IP. Less temptations then at home! I had a shake for brekkie in the hotel, shaken up martini style with ice. Lunch was a subway salad. I had my bar around 2:00 when I did a bit of sale shopping for myself. Dinner was a deiscious meal atbRed Lobster. I had lemon water, and the New Orleans Salmon with asparagus and broccoli. It was divine. I just settled into bed with a RTD vanilla pudding. LIFE IS GOOD!! Kids will sleep tonight!! . Tomorrow is a Costco run then heading home.

Great new before and now pics!!!! You look soooo young, vibrant and healthy!!!!! You are doing amazing!!!!
There has been a lot of Influenza B around here. I'm hoping to stay clear of that - sounds like there is a lot of gunk going around. There has also been so much bronchitis and pneumonia this year.
I hope everyone gets to feeling better!!!
I am just about through day 2 - and stayed 100 OP. I am trying to figure out when I will hit ketosis. I can't remember from last time. I know I felt terrible. So far, I just feel hungry about 1/2 way between meels. Drinking LOTS of water and some hot tea.
I'm hoping I don't hit the worst day in the middle of the work week. (fingers crossed)

I am on phase 2 right now since last Wednesday. I was going to start Phase 3 today but chickened out. I didn't WI this week but my scale shows me down another 3 lbs at least. I started doing Jillians 30 day shred on Jan. 1. I seemed a little weak one day and checked my BP with a wrist one and it was pretty low, 80's/60's. Talked to my coach on the phone and she wasn't too concerned. It has been going better and have been doing the 30 day shred everyday. I'm nervous about phase 3 so going to wait until I see my coach this week. I have printed a bunch of recipe ideas including Liz's and have bought some things so I should be ready. I'm afraid to get out of ketosis and have the cravings attack. wish me luck?

You're going to do great! I am gearing up for phase-off myself, and one thing I am learning is that I CANNOT be afraid of normal eating again. If I'm afraid of food, then food is still in control. Cravings are going to come. I am going to keep a stash of my favorite products on hand so I don't have to feel helpless when they hit - HealthWise cookies and a box of bars for the sweets cravings, Cocomint Creme pudding for my chocolate cravings, and HealthWise cheese puffs when I need a crunchy snack. I know how to make veggies meet a lot of my needs. And I am going to be THOUGHTFUL about how I eat - no more mindlessness when it comes to food.
Just keep everything you learned in Phase 1 at the front of your mind. We don't leave phase 1 behind, we just apply it to the next level of the game
How does everyone get in their EVOO? I usually saute my veggies in it or add it to my protein in the evening. Something I read, recommended not cooking it. I have a friend that would drink hers. I don't think I can do that. Any suggestions?

Pour it on your salad or on top of cooked veggies. 1 tsp is a very small amt.

Great advice Scorbett! You are going to rock every phase of this program and be successful at maintenance. They key is continue being vigilant about what we are putting into our bodies. No more mindlessness that will ultimately put us right back where we started.
Nola, wow - you look radiant, and at least 10 years younger!!!
