And another possibility...what do you think??

1 english muffin (160 cal, 1 fat, 30 carbs, 8 protein)
1 cup strawberries (49 cal, .5 fat, 11.7 carbs, 1 protein)
6 oz greek yogurt (100 cal, 0 fat, 7 carbs, 18 protein)
1 whole hard boiled egg (77 cal, 5.3 fat, .6 carbs, 6.3 protein)
1 TBLSP Peanut butter (94 cal, 8.1 fat, 3.1 carbs, 4 protein)

Totals: 480 cals, 14.8 fats, 52.4 carbs, & 37.3 protein

**Now the carbs are above 50. However, the english muffin has 6 grams of fiber...do we subtract those to determine net carbs for our plan? If that's the case, then my carbs will be below 50.

As you can see...I'm a continental breakfast lover, too!!

It looks great to me - you really can't let yourself get crazy over a couple of grams - it's food - you can't make it an exact science.

I have my breakfast ready for tomorrow and it feels like it could get out of control very quickly. I'm a bit worried about going out of control over Christmas.

Congrats on tomorrow! You deserve it! You and I very similar. I've been worried about Christmas, too! Having those get togethrs so close together is scary for me. I've been dreaming about enjoying my Christmas dinner...but I have to remind myself that it is just food!

Let me know how tomorrow goes for you. I've read that some people get light headed after that 1st big breakfast...so be careful!

I think I'll be on P4 by Christmas too, and will be at 2 large Christmas dinners, 3 days apart. Have decided that only 1 will be my 'free' day...I'm terrified about losing control!

fitgirl2012 - am glad to see your comment about some gettig light-headed afer first big breakfast...had not seen this before, and was planning to begin P3 on a Monday...maybe will move it up a day to Sunday...?

Green iris...yes, you may want to try your breakfast over the weekend. You may not feel any effects, but you just never know. I read about that in the life after phase 1 thread in the stickies. Some VERY useful info in there. I particularily paid attention to all of Novak & BevS posts.

Regarding Christmas...I have the same thoughts as you. I may have a treat or 2 on Christmas Eve, but I'm reserving my cheat day for Christmas day...hopefully in moderation!

Slow2lose...how was your breakfast this morning? Hope you enjoyed it!!

Have a GREAT day!!!!!

OMG it was delicious but I had no effects. I didn't feel overly full or anything - just satisfied. I could have eaten more. That's what scares me - my love of food - I was definitely a "live to eat" person and I don't think that has changed. I think if you are a foodie, you are a foodie through and through.

I had 1 cup Kashi Honey Puffed, half cup 2% milk, 1 ounce light cheese, 100 grams Oikos natural non-fat yogurt, 1 cup fresh strawberries and half a banana. YYUUUMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to do it all over again tomorrow morning!!!
