Would you be willing to share your pinterest board with the recipes? I see recipes on there all the time but not low carb ones. I'm fairly new to pinterest though so maybe I'm not using it properly.

I found a pic of myself with my son @ 220 lbs... my face and body was so swollen..... it looked like someone filled me with helium.... then I found a pic from this past Sept with the same son..... at 176 ish...... and omg... there is NO comparison. My friends were shocked when they saw it. So I copy and pasted both onto a Word doc, printed it, and TAPED it over the container of Presidents Choice Candycane icecream in our freezer! LOL do you know? it worked ! did not even WANT to open that freezer last night !

Funnily enough, I watch Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives every day and that works for me! To watch them create all those A-M-A-Z-I-N-G dishes and woof them down like there's no tomorrow is actually very inspiring! They're made with tons of butter and sugar and flour and look so delicious....and they all look SO unhealthy eating it.

I know I can go out and eat like that if I want to when I'm done with my journey...once a week...and that's fine with me. I can wait. But I also know what eating like that will do to my body and my health and that makes me feel so good about what I'm doing right now.

For the first time in decades, I'm feeling very good about how I look and I know I'll feel better again with every day that passes as I'm losing.

I am inspired. You all inspire me.

Minch- I remember you were looking for rhubarb in the Maritimes. I bought frozen rhubarb at a speciality grocery store in Bedford (Pete's).

Love your ice cream idea! Candy cane ice cream is one of my favorites! The holiday flavors are always so enticing....I'm going to keep your picture idea in mind as a strategy in case I get tempted!

LOL it really works! I mean especially during the holidays, why should the rest of the family NOT have these treats just because I cannot? this is not right. But once I get back into ketosis, I should be a lot stronger.
