1 Scoop = 30g

Cals 110 (from Fat 0)
Cholesterol 0
Sodium 150mg
Potassium 390mg
Carbs 1g
Sugars 0
Protein 25g
Calcium 30mg

A little low on the carbs (as are most whey formulas), but a hefty protein kick and a LOT of potassium. The label also suggests that there are plenty of branched chain amino acids in there, but it's stevia sweetened so probably tolerated a lot better than sucralose or acesulfame K.

Taking it every day may pose a problem with the potassium supplement (check the RDA) and you CAN cause heart irregularity with too much potassium so check your numbers.

I use the GNC equivalent of this on strength/core training days, but I avoid it on days when I'm not working muscles or doing cardio. Cardio days get a chocolate drink instead of a juice one, for that extra carb recovery.

I never heard about the gelatin every 3 days from my coach either.

Is there a good replacement for the Multi vitamin as an alternative? I just ran out and was wondering if I could order or better yet pick up a replacement.

Also, I don't bother with the cleanse. There is a tea called smooth move that will take care of it for you and it is wonderful! The cleanse is an unnecessary expense. Come back often and you will see all kinds of ideas, support and advice. It gets easier but you have gotten the basics PLAN AHEAD!
What is the boot camp? Do you replace the protein meal with an IP packet + veggies? Or do you mean the meal replacement option that IP sells but I think is for Phase 3 or Phase 4?

Somebody resurrected this old thread from a couple years ago.
I'm going to suggest anyone asking questions do so on the daily chat.

Most questions are FAQ and more people read the daily chat than any other thread. You'll get more and quicker responses there.

A warm welcome Libertybelle!

Lisa - thanks for reiterating the details. Even for someone who has been OP for as long as I have, it's really good to revisit. I'm going to try the raspberry jello upon my next order and have it every other day in addition to my other pkts. Very great idea. And, interesting to hear your take on the Mio. Agreed, I'll stick to water unless I feel like I'm done with it for the day and need something sweet. Appreciate your take on that.

Libertybelle - I hope you have a wonderful clinic/coach.

We're here for you (as you can see)!!!

Best Wishes,
Karen

Mixing spinach into a shake helps me get my veggies in a well. The more water you drink the better your losses will be, so that will motivate you to drink water (I'm not usually a water drinker either).

May want to start on biotin as well. Some people experience some temporary hormonal hair thinning at or around month 4, biotin is supposed to help prevent that or atleast minimize it. Not trying to scare you, but hair is important to me so I started on that immediately.

According the IP video about raspberry jelly and blue/cran granata, you can have 1 of these every other day (not every day), and it can either be one of your 3 packets on that day, or be an extra packet if adding a packet doesn't affect your weight loss.

Shasta - boot camp is 5 packets in a day plus veggies, for 2-3 days. I haven't done it, my coach told me about it as an option if/when I hit a plateau.

Yes, we're also taking biotin daily.

Before IP when I washed my hair I'd lose the equivalent of a small cat, now I'm lucky if I lose enough to make into a kiss curl. Seems to work so far. Nails are also much, much stronger with the protein intake than they've ever been.

PLEASE stop using this old thread!!!

Yesterday someone was given a "warm welcome" from a post 2 years ago.

Please move the conversation to the daily chat.

If you asked a question here, I'll answer it in the daily chat.

As I said yesterday, this is an old thread that someone resurrected and it is confusing people.
