Congrats to all moving to Phase 2 and Phase 4! I have a long, long way to go but every person I hear moving forward inspires me!

I am fitting into clothes I haven't been able to wear, already! I am so excited about this. I've been going into work all cute every day with my new expanded choices. I have been hoarding clothes in the next 3 sizes down for a couple of years (major clearance sales at Lane Bryant for example) so I have enough really cute things to last me for a while!

As of today, 34 pounds down, but my official weigh-in day isn't until tomorrow so I won't change my sig until then. I am trying not to weigh every day--but it recommends in Beck Diet Solution that I do so--so I'm not sure which to follow! Has anyone else read that book?

Yesterday was a bad hungry day. Mostly because I didn't feel good. I always want to recover quicker than I really can (from my surgery 2 weeks ago this time). I ended up having a lettuce-wrapped sub and it had mayo on it. Not the best choice. But better than having eaten any extra carbs. Sigh.

Today is better though!
Many say not to weigh every day but I find that it keeps me motivated and OP. I also found that my weight increases on Wednesdays, weird huh. I like knowing what to expect for each weigh in and also each day. the main thing is that you don't let the scale dictate your moods or make you feel defeated. Right now my scale isn't changing much but that's ok. I'm completely OP and hoping that inches are dropping even if the scale isn't. I tried on a pair of pants that I bought last week. They were tight last week, too tight to wear but today they fit!

Today has been a great day. I hit my second goal on IP today. I made it to 175 pounds. I have lost a total of 56 pounds on IP since May 16th. I have lost 70 pounds since January (14 pounds before IP). I am over halfway to my goal. This has been a life changing program for me.

Congratulations on all the achievements this week. Today was week 4 WI -3.8 . It was a stressful week and made me realize how much I used to emotionally eat. That is probably played a major roll in my weight gain all these years!!

I have been using you recipes to change things up a bit. The pudding cakes were great!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

So glad it is Friday...this week has drug on and on and on for me. Looking forward to getting through next week so we can get into full holiday swing mode. I can't wait to get lights up on the house and get the inside decorated. Just seems so cheerful!

Last night I practiced one of the veggie puree (gravy) recipes that LizRR has posted...it was awesome and is making it's way to my holiday table. I have everything planned out for our family dinner on Thursday...looking forward to the focus not being about the food, but about family.

Hope everyone has a 100% OP day.
Thank you! I agree with you about he family focus, not food. Thanksgiving is by far my most favorite holiday! I am so excited about seeing my sister! I am going to make the gravy puree this weekend too.

She said I can stay on P2 as long as I want to, so will play it by ear. I think I set my goal a bit too low, and am very comfortable where I am and believe I can maintain this weight for the long-term. I do hope to lose 3-5 more lbs on P2, but not going to stress about it if I don't.
As I don't post on this thread too often, so want to wish all of you (in the U.S.) a wonderful Thanksgiving! Enjoy, but stay OP!
Congratulations! I agree with others - your progress photos and posts are so inspiring. Hope to join you on phase 2 in 6 or so more months :-)

Had a stressful couple of days at work yesterday and today. Before beginning this I would have eaten chocolate at my desk, a fat-laden lunch and dinner, and a couple of alcoholic drinks in the evening. Now I come home all stressed out and take Onyx for a walk or step on the scale to appreciate how much weight I've lost. Thanks to everyone on these forums for the insights and inspiration.

Frances
