Default Down 36lbs! Photo!

I need a little encouragement, the last few weeks (2 months?) have been pretty rough for me as far as sticking to the diet go. I thought if I looked at old photos it would get me going again! I've been 100% since yesterday and plan on being perfect on IP until Christmas! Please send some encouragement my way. =)

Lindsey

You can do this! It's mind over eating! Get OP and get support from us and then don't go away once you lose the weight. We are all struggling with weight loss but I feel better than ever on IP. BTW...you look amazing in your photos Congrats on what you have lost!

Wuv said that we've had the holiday foods before and we know what they taste like. They will be there for us to taste and savor NEXT year when we are in maintenance!

It's funny.. I've always LOST weight during the Holidays. I'm not a big Holiday eater, nor does my family do a whole lot for the Holidays. I've been struggling with staying 100% due to stress, I think. I run my own business and I'm constantly super stressed out, which causes me to say "screw it, let's go get a hamburger!" and it's REALLY hard for me to retain self control when I've got so much going on with work. I also do REALLY well during the week days while I have a routine, but then it is always screwed up on weekends when I haven't planned and don't know where I'll be when I'm starving.. I'm a terrible planner as it is, and rarely have the time or energy to commit to preparing food before hand. I think I need to find a way to work on preparation, so that I can just grab and go.. and not have to think about it.

Weekends are tough for me. Ive learned to plan even though on weekends I dont wanna plan. My success depends on it. I check out the menus online and just get lots of stuff cooked the week before so I have prepared stuff for the weekend. I guess its a matter of deciding what is important. You look so AMAZING and I would not give that up for ANYTHING!

Thank you!!

It is pretty amazing that I've lost 36lbs in the past three months.. and I'm already down almost three sizes! I thought for sure I'd only be down like.. maybe one size.

I lost 30lbs exactly my first month and the last two I've only lost another 6... clearly I need to step it up! I have to buy my wedding dress in the next 30 days!! AHHH! My goal for November 15 is 215lbs, which is about 10lbs from now. I keep fluctuating between 226-229.. rar. =)

Fingers Crossed!!

Lindsey I have the same issue, I run a business too so i get those moments of "screw it lets get an in-N-out, u deserve it" lol but i try to not stray and stick to my path! I am trying to bring my lunch and snack to work with me and when i want to munch on something i grab the long English cucumber, yes i munch on them like if they were a snickers bar lol

What kind of business you run? just curious

Lindsey - unfortunately, we will always have some form of stress in all our lives. There may be times where it is worse and other times where it's not so bad, but it will be there. Here is a chance for you to work through this "stress" and learn how to not let it allow you to make poor food choices or overeat. Are you anxious? Are you exhausted? What would most help to reduce your stress related to work? Maybe you could take some yoga or meditation classes. This could help you take "time out" from the stress and give yourself a mental break. The stresses from running your own business will always be there - if you could get a 5-30 minute "break" daily, this could make all the difference. Keep searching - overeating is not the solution!

Also, you need to do as many others on this site have suggested in having an "emergency pack" - some IP foods that you carry with you at all times in case you find yourself hungry and no where near home. This sounds like it is a must for you and your busy weekends.
