Dang it - there's no shark emoticon!!!!

And thanks again! Now I'm going to go home today and draw a picture of a shark mouth on my scale

LOL! Scan the shark image, and I'll put it on my scale too.

It comes up! Thank you. I love it. I think it reminds me, that if I don't lose weight, that shark will be coming.

I've only had one fun day (Saturday) and was up 5 pounds the next day. I'm still working my may back down to my pre-fun day weight. I don't think I'll be doing fun days too often. I may have a fun meal now and then, but the gain isn't worth it to me to go all out and have a beer, dessert, and pizza. All the carbs threw my system for a loop! I did do a phase 1 day on Sunday, but I think I'll throw in another one or two if my weight isn't back down by Saturday.

At the very beginning I'd do one or two days (bounced up to 6 lbs the first fun day)...I used to go all out now I don't and so far have been able to keep it within reason. Also helps that most of the food I considered 'fun' doesn't really sit well with me, I actually get nauseated when I eat chocolate.

For me, my definition of "fun" at the beginning is different now....as it becomes to much 'work' mentally to get it back down to where it should be before the next 'fun' day. So having a meal works and relaxing on the rules and just eating more 'healthy' stuff (ie more fruit) on my fun day takes most of the headache out.

Thanks! I'll be doing just that in the future. One meal is all I really want, and I don't even want that every week. I was just testing the waters with my 1st fun day. I'm happy that I was able to hop back on to phase1 the next day. And now I know how my body reacts to indulging.

Thanks for all of the responses! Glad to see its not clear cut for anyone. We are in this together. The idea of a fun meal, appeals to me and just being more relaxed through the day while trying to eat fairly healthy.
