They will crisp up if they are sliced paper thin. Other than that, they will still have some texture. Make sure you have a mandolin slicer to keep them thin and consistent. Then watch, they can burn easily.

Hope that helps.

I make mine in a dehydrator, but they are definitely not soft - not crunchy either - more chewy, but very tasty!!

I agree with Molly, though, best to use a mandolin to get consistent slices. otherwise, some will be done sooner than others and it gets a lot more complicated.

Sorry to disrupt the present topic, but would anyone here know if eating a restricted is still allowed in Phase 2?

I'm noticing the bottom of my feet are quite sore and I do have a few newer shoes, so thought it was that. My coach and I were talking about all the "bones" things, rings looser etc. and she said "Yeah, you lose fat in all the places -- even where you don't want it like the pads of your feet"

So I had an "a-ha" moment as to why my feet are becomin' tender tootsies!

Totally non-related to anything, but I made cookies tonight with the blueberry pudding and it reminds me of having blueberry waffles.... nice treat with my tea tonight

It is so cool, isn't it! Makes me giggle to know that I have great cheek bones and that my hips are coming to the surface!
Yeah us!

Check with your coach. I would always have a few slices of turkey bacon on the weekend when my family was having their big Sunday after church meal. I just deducted the amt. from my dinner protein. It didn't seem to affect my losses.

I had to go shopping today because my size 14's are too big and I have 2 pairs of cords that fit to wear for work, which aren't all that appropriate . I have been wearing skirts and dresses most days.

I wish I could go back to wearing scrubs every day...oh the days.

Anyway, if anyone is interested, the Gap is having a 40% sale on sweaters, tee's and work - type pants. I got 2 pairs of 12's and a couple cardigans and long sleeved tee's.

I hate buying clothes since I know I probably won't be in this size for very long, but I can't go to work with pants that I can take off without unbuttoning!

I am a proud shopper at the stylish boutique "Village de Valeur".... (ok, it's a bad translation of Value Village but sounds so much more "chic" in french
The used clothing stores are my best friend these days. I bought a brand new pair of pants and then 6 used for the same price. Till I get to my goal weight, it's "new to me" clothes all the way! BUT that's a great NSV if you have nothing to wear that doesn't fall off your butt!

Confession of a carboholic -- I'm up a few pounds but I REFUSE to move my ticker. It will stay there till I get back down this week. Apparently there is this concept of "phasing off" that I forgot to try.... ooops...

Hi peeps. I'm on Week 1 Day 6 of IP and finding that weekends are really hard to keep up the momentum. Without the structure of work I am having a difficult time getting my water in, craving carbs, and just generally haveing a hard time staying OP. I know this is only my first weekend but I don't want to fear every weekend of this journey. Any advice or encouragement welcome!!
