Dana, I guess you were starting the weekend chat as I was asking about it on the 50+ thread.
Have a great weekend everyone and hope you get lots of rain where the fires are.

I was, and just answered you on the 50+ thread, lol. I guess we kept missing each other.

Lots of sunshine here in Austin today with a warm beautiful day in the 90's. It's definitely starting to cool down a bit at night, but just beautiful during the day. I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Getting ready to head to the farmers market to stock up on some veggies and put in an order for my Thanksgiving turkey, then off to visit my SIL and do some shopping!

I had a nice NSV today. I went through my boxed clothes and got out my 18W's and 16W's jeans, as the jeans I had out were getting pretty loose (I started at a tight 22w).

This morning I put on a 18 and saw that it wasn't an 18W, just a regular 18. Haven't seen that size in years. They are pretty loose in the legs, but tight in the stomach area (wish that weight would go away).

But still, a regular 18! Happy, Happy Saturday!

And we have some nice weather here in Santa Fe too. Sunny and up to around 80. The evenings are cooling off nicely in this high desert town. This is my favorite time of year here in Santa Fe. The leaves are starting to turn, and the Aspens are starting to look gorgeous up in the mountains.

Have a great day, everyone!

Good morning IPeeps!

Beautiful morning in Saskatchewan! Sun shining but a little cool. It did get down to freezing last night.

No big plans this weekend. Still cleaning out the unwanted items and taking them to charity. Hopefully will get time to clean out husband's truck when it warms up a bit this afternoon.

Have a great day!

Starshine - Awesome NSV!

Today I REEEALLLY need to get to the laundromat. It's my weekend to work so everything on the agenda has to be crunched into the day before 2pm. Seems like my "to do" list is always longer than the hours I have to work with! Hoping that on my next day off I can start weeding out the oversized stuff in my closet, the thrift store is going to LOVE me!

Good Morning Everyone.

Seems like things are back to normal and I am not thirsty today like I was yesterday. We are working on our barn this weekend...hoping to get the side walls up! It is a nice cool crisp fall morning here in Wyoming.

Hope everyone has a great OP day!

You know you have been living with wildfire for too long when you can no longer distinguish smoke from clouds. The fire is still 9 miles north of our home. A new weather system is moving in but instead of rain it is bringing warm temps and lightning (which started all the fires burning on the east side of Washington). On the plus side, it is also bringing some humidity which can only help.

My husband performed in a local show last night so that was a welcome distraction from all the fire craziness. Many of our friends were astonished when they saw him last night because he has lost 57 pounds on IP since June. I am so proud of him.

Thanks, Scorbett! I boxed up my larger sizes and they need to go to the thrift store also. I don't trust myself enough yet to give them away though. I hate that!

Hope you get to go to the laundromat today!

I have 2 great big bags of "too big" cloths to go to thrift store! Some still have tags on them. But I love the extra room I have on my closet. First time ever that I have been able to get rid of cloths because they are too big! Always has been because they were too small! Yippee!!

I feel for you all in Washington. We have wild fires in New Mexico, and when it gets bad, it's really horrible to live in. Hope cooler temps and rain come soon!

Wonderful on your husband!

That's wonderful iwiggy! I need to go through my shirts and then I'll have a lot more room in my closet too.

I had a cheat yesterday! And I'm only on day four! It was. More absent-minded and forgetting that I am on the plan. I had one bite of a potato skin, and one fried mushroom (about quarter-sized). I know it seems like a small amount, but I haven't even hit ketosis yet and I'm scared it will delay it! I skipped my night veggies though, so hopefully they even out.

I was at work so late! I was clocking out at 3:30AM. On another note though, someone kept bugging and bugging me to take a shot with him. Finally, I gave in -- except I gave him Jameson and poured myself water with a dash of diet pepsi to give it that whiskey coloring!

I think that will ultimately be the hardest part of my job. People often expect me to take shots. I will resist!
