Default Has anyone tried the IP tea?

They are heavily promoting it at my clinic. Last week my coach read me the ingredients and said I should try it since it increases metabolism and is tasty (at $12/box, um, wow!)...this week she read me the ingredients again and gave me a sample.

I am sure there are comparable teas out there for less money. She made a big deal about the bitter orange, linoleic acid, guarana and yerba being so great to burn calories. There is caffeine in it.

Has anyone ever tried it?

I tried their lemon tea packet my first week. I followed the directions, but it just didnt seem to disolve completely. It was very chalky. I bought it again at the urging of my coach and tried it last night. This time I used boiling water, thinking it might dissolve better. Instead it turned out with little clumps in it, it was horrible. I had to dump it down the sink. I wouldn't recommend it.

Our coach showed it to us yesterday too, but wasn't too pushy about it. She said she hadn't tried it yet. I didn't realize it was so expensive. It did look like tea bags though, not a drink mix. Hope to hear from some peeps who have tried it though.

My coach sells other types of tea, do she has never pushed the ip tea. I tried a bag and it was good, but nothing spectacular.

My hubby and I think the IP tea is one of the worst tasting out there. No offense to those who like it, but I'd personally rather have green tea at home than spend that much money for a tea I'd probably just throw away in the sink.
