Default Struggling today!

Hello IPeeps,

I'm struggling today (Day 4)- I'm hungry and I just ate my lunch. Totally my fault because I didn't plan properly. I just grabbed a few things from home and now have to make do...

So I'm drinking water like crazy to "fool" my brain!

So I have a question today regarding the IP drinks (clear drinks - not shakes). I understand that nutrition-wise, it is similar to other IP packages, but are we to use them as a main meal or snack? I think it's yes, but I'm having difficulty in wrapping my mind around clear drink as a meal...

Each packet is equivalent.
Try a few dill pickles. Or, if you must, have an extra packet today. Tomorrow will be easier.

I promise it gets easier! I am on day 7 and feel great!! I am never hungry, dont have headaches, or any of the side effects you can get. I was told you can have up to 5 packets a day. Ill show you what my day usually looks like:

Breakfast: IP mango and peach packet with 10oz of water
Lunch: IP mashed potatoes packet and 2Cups grilled mushrooms with whatever lettuce I want
Dinner: 8oz grilled chicken breast and 2Cups of whatever veggie I have on hand
Snack: IP pink lemonade packet or raspberry jelly


Good luck! If you stick with it you wont regret it!

It does get easier as you and your body get used to our new routine. To help the hunger I feel in the afternoon sometime I spread out my 8oz protein and have and oz or two at lunch I find that really helped me curb it. Hope that helps.

Your body will adjust, just give it some time! Good for you for sticking with it.

Something that has helped me HUGELY is having egg whites with some veggies before I leave for work in the morning, and then my "breakfast" shake around 2 hours later. That way I'm able to eat more consistently and also push off lunch a bit (without this I end up eating lunch at noon and get REALLY hungry around 11 AM and then again by 3:30).

You can also try dividing up your veggies and save them for when you're hungry throughout the day.
