Default Random Question about Butterscotch pudding

I made it today--shake stlye [more water, ice cubes, and magic bullet-ized] and it had a VERY distinct smell. Not a bad one, just a very familliar one...I am not a big butterscotch person, but liked the packet.

Just curious did anyone else thing...I *KNOW* this smell.....

...I still cant figure it out

I actually like this one as pudding. I make it and then put it in the freezer for about 15 minutes. I think it's pretty yummy.

I wasn't the smell of the BP, to me it was the aftertaste. I was disappointed in the BP, and i haven't bought another. I do like the vanilla and the chocolate.

The first time I was on IP, the butterscotch pudding had a faint fish-like aftertaste to me, which made me gag. I mixed it with vanilla and dark chocolate pudding to stomach it and get through the box.
I just started IP again 3 days ago and decided to buy a box because the flavors have been improved. Thank goodness the fish-aftertaste is gone. It just smells a lot more like butterscotch than it tastes like. I still put half a packet of butterscotch pudding in a ramekin and then add half a packet of dark chocolate or vanilla. It's a good mix if you don't like it.

It makes an amazing latte with chai or spice tea. Warm and delicious!

I haven't tried the BP yet, but I had the strawberry wafers everyone has raved about and THEY left an after taste for me. Which is too bad because they were super good going down, but about 10 minutes later, not so much.

Wow really?? That's too bad, I LOVE the strawberry wafers. I like savoring each bite and then licking the melty chocolate off my fingers lol.

I put a 1/4 tsp of pumpkin pie spice in the BP pudding when I make it and let it sit in the fridge for a while before eating it (or warm it a bit in the microwave when I want it warm). Do the same when I make a shake out of it. Mmmmm!
