Default Donating Blood

Hi Everyone,

I'm on week 3 of IP and feel great. Just wondering if anyone knows if it's okay to donate blood while OP? Just wondering if I would be too light headed? Any thoughts? I'd like to donate on Monday.

I have been OP for 2 months and have donated blood once each month. I had no problems after. I went right after I ate my lunch so my tummy was full. Good luck!

I just donated blood a few weeks ago and felt fine afterwards. I brought my water with me and opted out of the usual juice and cookies.

No, I couldn't get the link to work, but thank you. From what everyone else is saying it sounds like I'll be fine.

Thanks, I'll be sure to eat before and will save my snack for after.

Good for you wanting to donate blood - I feel bad when I see these low level alerts, but it's too soon for me.

I've donated blood a couple of times and my iron, which is usually low and gets me deferred at times, is at good levels.

I've felt fine afterwards and just drink the water at the cantina after. My old thinking would have been, I've just done something really good, I deserve those Lorna Doones (and probably would stop for DQ on the way home too!), now I just sit there and drink my water, and generally ask for a second one. How things change.

So true. I guess I'll be rewarding myself with an IP Strawberry Wafer
