I do fill up, and pack it a little, with lettuce..cant taste that either.

And fyi, i was SO SCARED to try it the first time. I find cold liquid preblended with the spinach for the 2 minutes helps to liquefy it all down. I use chilled coffee, but water or flavored herbal teas are good to.
Oh, hmm. A large handful for me is one cup.

Love spinach smoothies - like the rest of you, I think it tastes great and gives you a "fuller" feeling. When I am in a pinch I just put a cup of frozen spinach in a Premier Protein premix and blend really good. I don't have to add any additional sweeteners because the protein drink is already sweet. Chug, chug...great start to the day.

Yeah, like I said, it is all so relative - but as long as youve measured it out and know how much is in there you should be all good! Drink up and enjoy!

Used to looove spinach smoothies with a tbs peanut butter, unsweetened cocoa, fat free plain yogurt and skim milk.

I can't have that now, but I think I may try it with one of the drinks blended with coffee. Good idea!

If you use this at breakfast, then do you decrease the amt of veggies at lunchtime?

I find that I get hungry before lunch with whatever IP product I use, so this might be a trick that would help with that.
Thank you sooo much for putting adding this subject in the title and as a separate header. I was wondering how Liz made her spinach smoothie. I seem to have a lot of difficulty searching the different threads ..spend hours trying to find a subject or track the replies.

I also tried this for breakfast this morning. The taste is just fine but the color...not so much! I am going to find a cup that I can't see through.

My IP coach also suggested zucchini. I blend it good with my choc shake for breakfast and can not taste it at all. Its a great way to get veggies in and especially one I don't normally care to eat. ...and Yes,I find it more filling.

This morning I used a vanilla rtd and some romaine and it was good... I also put in 3 capsules of glucomannan which is a thickener made of konjac root...it has 5 cals and 1.7g of carb coming from the fiber. I didn't know it had the calories in it before I used it, but it did thicken the drink and makes me fuller longer. Konjac root is the same stuff that the miracle noodles are made from...I wonder if it would be considered to be legal??
