Hi All...I, too, get these terrible thoughts running through my head. I am losing more weight right now than I ever have on any other diet, but I keep waiting for it to stop working. Then I imagine going out and just stuffing my face with whatever I can find. I kinda feel like I'm trying just one more diet to prove nothing will work for me....kinda like a poor Jess type of thing. The thing is, it is working. Then, I sit and wonder when it will stop working. I wish my brain would just turn itself off! Maybe there are meds for that!?!?!?!

Thanks Everyone for posting. Its good to know I'm not alone.
Hope to have a good week.

One thing I learned so far I need to keep journaling what I'm eating ... especially on weekends - by the end of the day at times I can't recall what I ate earlier ... lol

So, when I have those weeks, where I have little or no loss I can clearly look back at where I was and see the future and I have a plan on how I will get to goal. (gosh sorry Buzz Light-Year .. "and beyond! came to mind though it's true the other phases are "beyond" at this point but I fully intend to do them)

I should add small start and progress photos on that document - that will be motivating as well.

I have had those thoughts and I'm terrible because I do step on my scale every day. I usually don't see any change until the last 2 days before I weigh in. I don't know why. But I do know that you gotta keep going and not get discouraged. I was a super loser on week 1, 15 lbs. I actually gained week 2, but I lost inches big time. I think maybe my body was trying to figure things out. I lost 6 lbs week 3.
The great thing about IP is that I am not really hungry. Some days I just go in and shake up a few ounces and down it just to get the IP in. It's what is doing the work. If I overthink food or what I'm going to eat next then I fail. I finally found out though why I crave peanut butter, it was so obvious. PB is full of fat. And since IP is low fat, my body craves fat. Doesn't it know that it just needs to go find the fat that is hiding under my back bra strap? Come on!

i am like you....days 1-5 i am like a roller coaster on the scales...then on the last 2 days the whoosh comes...i like tracking my weight everyday, and comparing it to the same day 1 week BEFORE...and i finally stopped being frustrated about the beginning of the week and now just wait patiently for that whoosh...i figure the whoosh fairy is too busy visiting everyone else...then finally gets to me later in the week!!

you've had some awesome WI's...way to go!!

you cracked me up about the hiding fat!! my biggest problem is so many people losing weight from a larger amount like me have bigger tummies and tiny little legs...but i carry my weight like a huge pear...all in the bottom and thighs! thunder thighs...i hate it...but can't seem to lose much weight in my thighs....i have lost lots of inches but barely any from my thighs...le sigh....

I'm always feeling the weight loss stress. It's getting better, however today I'm feeling puffy and I weigh in on Monday. Any type of loss on Monday will be a victory!!
