Default Am I the only one that thinks

the IP omelet is horrible! I know everyone has different taste-buds but yuck yuck yuck. My mom and I are both doing IP and I told her last Sunday that I tried it and how horrible it was and she was sure I had to be mistaken so I made another one just yesterday and again same thing.

Do you have a IP pack that you like and other cringe about or vice versa?

Everyone's tastes are different. I could eat the omlettes and leek soup every day. Others can't choke either of those packets down. On the other hand, I'd rather starve than eat the chocolate pudding (or any of the puddings for that matter), but others couldn't survive IP without them. Just hang in there, try different packets, and you'll find your favorites.

I also did not like the Omelette the 1st time, but the 2nd time I made it like scrambled eggs and then put WF maple syrup on and I really don't mind it. (The first one I had to throw it was so bad)

It is funny how everyone is different! I LOVE the omelet! I saute peppers, onions, spinach and mushrooms and pour hot sauce on top. One of my favorites! Least favorite...chicken patty. Yuck!

I make the omelette like scramble eggs with spinach, mushrooms and some veggie shreds. It's a good idea to mix it wit vegetables.

Don't completely dismiss it after disliking it the first time. You might find that after a few weeks your preferences change; I think many of us can vouch for that one. Oh and I can't stand the strawberry puddings.

You will also find, that putting more or less water into some will change the texture and flavor. I also recommend using lots of herbs and spices

First time, I loved the omelette. Second time, I hated it and had to force it down. Third time, I liked it again. I'm kinda weird like that Don't dismiss it completely yet, by trying a different recipe you might start liking it... or for no particular reason (happens to me a lot!)

I hated the omelette at first too. Gave it to my boyfriend who eats anything. A few weeks later I liked it when I added spinach and mushrooms. The strange thing is that the omelettes make me tired. But, they are so big and filling. I have to eat more of them because I have been so starving lately.
I do not like the banana pudding. I'm not sure what to do with the vanilla drink mix. I made it like I make the vanilla pudding shake - more water and ice. The pudding shake was way better. Does anyone love the vanilla drink mix and what do you do with it?

I make the vanilla as a shake, with plenty of ice, the add a bit of WF carmel sauce. The other thing I do is make muffins or pancakes out of them. I also add nutmeg, which I think makes them taste fresh and good.

Careful with the onions. We are not supposed to sauté onions. I toss mine in after everything else has cooked.

I saute mine in water....well, first they parboil, then when they are almost out of water i add a pinch of olive oil. I will have to ask about that.

I make my omlette with a real egg. Isnt an egg considered 4 oz. of your protien? then its really good.

I cant stand the puddings and jello. I nearly gagged on the milk chocolate, and i am a chocolate lover.

i LOVE the snacks lol.
