Scorbett - I saw on the "What are you eating today" thread that you had the Proti-Diet White Cheddar Crisps - how are those? I've been debating getting them.

I like them! The portion size is a hair smaller than the IP ones, but I'm almost positive they are the exact same product.

Thanks, Scorbett! I will definitely order those next time!

Made several decisions today. #1) I will be using alternatives from now on. Not that I don't like IP, love my IP food, but I have found some great alternatives that taste just as good. I love Proti Diet vegetable beef soup! This decision is based on my clinic. I have had three coaches in 5 months. The latest is a skinny little girl that has not been on a diet in her life and I don't think she gets it. The clinic is fairly far away, and I feel like I have enough confidence to continue this protocol on my own now. #2) because of feeling very confident (today) I have lowered my goal weight and believe that I can reach this goal on this diet. So wish me luck going rogue. This IS the best diet around!

question: Aspartame.. is it only the cravings that make it an issue on IP or are there other reasons we aren't supposed to have it? I received a sample of the Raspberry hot chocolate with my last Nashua order and it was soooooo good. I want a box, but it has aspartame.... opinions please.. Thank you!!

"going rogue" I like that..lol. I went rogue partially a month or so ago adding alternatives to my stash of IP. As of next week I'll be 100% alternatives and not going back to the clinic. We can do this, this forum is amazing and I think we know how to weigh ourselves by now, lol. Think of all the clothes we can buy at our goal weight with the money we save using alternatives. Yay!

I'm no expert, but I know that different sweeteners react differently in your body and some are so close to how sugar makes your body react that they're not really doing the process any good -- for some of them, you may as well be having sugar. I copied the information down and I apologize as I know it's linked to someone's blog and I can't give credit where it's due but try this link
