I made this last night with an EAS RTD, added some splenda and vanilla and it was YUMMY!! I am going to try adding peppermint extract to it next time (which just might be tonight!!)
Omg I just made this with the Chocolate drink, it was WONDERFUL, I want to eat it for every meal.
Has anyone tried it with any other drinks?
The only downside here is the amount of salt I feel like I'm wasting haha

when i make mine, i only use 2 rounded TBSP sea salt...but i use CRUSHED ICE...as i have a crusher on my fridge and this makes it freeze a little faster i believe...but you could crush your ice first in a blender??? i have seen recipes calling for up to 1/2 cup salt!! crazy!!
I fill the gallon size baggie half full of crushed ice, add the 2 tbsp salt, give a shake, then i make a "well" in the center and add my small plastic bag into the center and usually in 3 mins sometimes 4 my ice cream is to eat...i also use oven mitts to shake!! haha because it gets cold!!! i also just wipe down my bag of ice cream, instead of rinsing and then fold the bag down before scooping out.
sometimes when i know i am going to make it, i will save a few chunks of a chocolate protein bar....and chop it up and have a sorta cookies and cream ice cream!! also, if i have not used my "milk" allotment, i will add 1 TBSP coconut milk YUM!!!!!!

Oh, that's good, I'll add less salt then! My fridge has a crusher as well s I'll use that, too. Yum, that cookies and cream idea sounds delicious! Will try it Thanks!
Oh my goodness.. this is the greatest thing EVER!! I'm on day 9 of this diet and this is just the thing I needed to get rid of my craving for desserts Delicious!!!
The vanilla and orange drinks together were good. Tasted like orange sherbet and I saved half in the freezer for the next day. I tried using the pudding packets and with extra water to mid it up they turned out just as good.
Since I was feeling brave I tried something else as well. I mixed up one of the raspberry jello packets with a little extra cold water, placed in a container, and froze it overnight. The next night I had a wonder IP "raspberry itialian ice."
Just the thing I need to cool off after a ridiculously hot day!
I found it works well to freeze a RTD shake. For my method you need to use a tetra-pack RTD, and to have a Ninja. Defrost the RTD just slightly. Peel container away and cut it into chunks. Put chunks into Ninja and pulse just enough to mix the frozen bits up a bit.... too much and it will start to liquify. Delicious!
Thank you so much for the share of this! If I have a downfall it is ice-cream. I can't wait to try this.
Me too. In the past it's been a major weakness for me. When I think of the fat and sugar I consumed through eating ice cream, it now makes me cringe. It's nice to find a much healthier, yet satisfying, alternative. Once I can have fruit, I'm going to (occasionally) use my Ninja to 'pulse' frozen fruit chunks...berries, peaches, etc. it creates a beautiful sorbet type concoction that will be much healthier than ice cream.
