Everyone who has posted POSITIVE things has had continued success with the program. Don't hate the people who are successful because it didn't work for you or you had too many complications on it. All of our bodies are different, sure everyone says they have the Big C but we work with it and get over it and move on. Some of us have had no issues at all, So with that being said I and many other will continue to follow the program YOU say doesn't work BUT WE are LIVING PROOF IT DOES!

never said the program doesn't work, it helps you lose weight very quickly. But in my opinion losing weight should not be put above your health. And please don't put words in my mouth, I do not hate anyone because they have found success and have never voiced such.

And it's more than the Big C for some people Lisa, some have had to go to the hospital to get emptied because of this program. And yes I'm sure many will continue to find success on it and kudos to them. But this is a public forum afterall, so I'm sorry if you're offended but I will continue to voice my opinion.

and how did I disrespect you or anyone else by stating my opinion on a diet I've tried? if you feel disrespected because I do not agree with everything everyone writes then perhaps you shouldn't be on a public forum where opinions/viewpoints are expressed.

Why thank you for bringing my bowels into the discussion, not that its any of your business or concern. :). I was offended by the tone of your post in relation to this diet being healthy and feel that your post was negative considering you won't or can't follow it due to the nature of your body composition. I find it difficult to understand why someone who doesn't like the diet is on the same forum as others who are...:).

Again, all are allowed their opinions, it is how they are expressed that matter.

I'm sorry that this thread has changed from the original question....I have answered Ei8gh's question to the best of may ability so I will no longer frequent in this thread.

Have a great day everyone!

sorry to offend you.:smug:
People come on this forum not just for encouragement but some come on here just to do reseach into the IP diet. I think it's wise to not only mention the pros (fast weight loss) but as well as the cons so that those who haven't joined IP yet can make an informed decision.

Been a lot of that lately. Not sure what the issue is. Not sure when it started. It's definitely not one poster. I just see people posting in a different tones, very, very different from what I have witnessed on this board for a long time.

We used to use different words and had a different tone when we want to share a different opinion. Now, we post like those on other boards do. Makes it less fun. Lots of great resources and information on here.

"I" statements go a long way. "You" statements are more likely to set up defensive walls.

Sometimes it's not what you say but how.

Too bad we cant have popcorn on this diet...

Being on any diet is a personal choice and some continue to have at least moderate issues which their IP clinic staff cannot resolve. For those of you that have had at least some to great success and whose issues were resolved or answers found, then that is GREAT! Encouragement, support, and information sharing is wonderful on this site and I commend you community "leaders" and all members who contribute in some way. I also am so thankful to all those who have provided information that has helped me. Eventually, however, it is hard to be the exception that is having limited success with moderate issues that are ongoing - it can be demoralizing and scary to continue to experience some of the ongoing symptoms.

constipation and light headedness is due to not drinking enough water. Usually when people start a new diet they do get these things. It's about making corrections and adjustments. It could be a lack of water or they aren't eating enough, but it's not about an overall diet. Seriously how many people are drinking at least 8 glasses of water a day. I think this is one of the biggest areas people fail in because it can depend on what your doing and sometimes you don't feel like drinking water.

Sugar, no sugar, whatever is in the products is WAY better than the junk I was putting in my body before hand. I love the way I feel. I see huge improvements mentally, physically, and socially. I've never eaten so healthy before. Not everyone experiences all of those side effects. I haven't been constipated yet, and this is coming from someone who is not very regular. In fact, I have never been so regular. My side effects are-- awareness, more energy, better moods, less anxious, more connected to life, and overall happier.

If I'm reading this right......

I have a box of Chocolate Flavoured Drink Mix. It does contain sugar in the chocolate (cocoa, sugar, salt, carrageenan, modified milk ingredients, colour, artificial flavour).

If you follow the protocol, the diet works. Is this diet 100% healthy? I think the answer to that question is relative. Sure, there are artificial sweetners and maybe even natural sweetners. Is it a balanced diet? No, and it's not meant to be. Are healthy foods restricted? Yes. It's a specially designed diet to help you lose weight fast. It's not meant to be followed for very long periods of time and it's not meant to be a permanent diet. If you have specific questions regarding your health, you should seek advice from a health care professional. Lots of us have had experience and success with IP. We've learned a lot and know how to remedy certain issues that may come up. We are here to support others and share information. One issue that I've noticed is that there are people out there who will try to sabotage you. Perhaps they've tried this diet and failed, perhaps they will encourage you to eat things that are prohibited on this diet. You have to recognize sabotage for what it is. One possible motive for sabotage is that they have to justify why this diet didn't work for them and may even attempt to recruit others to fight IP and those who were successful using IP, perceived enemies, so to speak. You can research a member's posting history. That may prove insightful. Of course, members can edit their posts, so be mindful of that as well.

Maybe I'm a tad naive, but I was surprised to see the word sabotage. Not saying there aren't some that the word applies to but many times what I may see are some member's voicing frustrations, sharing issues to seek solutions, etc. At Curves I did experience another gal who had weight loss surgery and she was competitive, etc. How one loses weight is a personal decision and I respect individual choice. However, this individual seemed to be struggling and I certainly understand that losing weight can have it's bumps and successes. So many great members on this site who genuinely want to share information and support one another.
