Well, back from WI #6: 5 pounds and 4" lost so I have slowed down a lot but still very happy with that.
Did get in trouble for some of my food choices this past week lol but all in all it was a decent week. Off to start week 7 now.
Hoping I have broken the pattern of sloooooowwww losses, cause they sure are hard to take.
Good news though, we did the body composition again today, and from week 1 to today I have only lost 1.4# of lean muscle mass, so I am doing good there. My body fat percentage had dropped from 29.95% in week 2 to 22.9% today which puts me not into the 'Acceptable' range for men for the first time in about 16 years. Fat Mass is down to 42.52#

Haha thanks so much buddy! Its amazing to actually be able to think about my goal as a possibility now. Just over half way, and I truly thought it was going to be so much harder than it has been. The slow weeks i have to admit have been a bit of a struggle but the dedication is paying off.
Nice to be called a loser! I can live with that...

I hear you. I'm not quite half way there but should be soon. Hopefully in a month to six weeks.

Since I will obviously be using muscles and blowing thru glycogen stores, ( similar to the no-no of weight lifting while on IP) Any suggestions how to combat the effects? Eat more protein?
I am still not 100% clear on what the effect would be with a heavy workout and tomorrow will more or less be its equivalent.
thanks,

I do a lot of farm work like that and I have never had a problem. I have found out that a sunburn will make you retain water so drink lots of water to flush it.

Has anyone else found that a sunburn will make you retain water. I get lots of sunburns so that is rough. Have to drink extra water to flush it. The doctor has also said to eat a small about of salt if working outside. you get weak and dizzy if not. It is mostly because the diet is no salt.

It may sound silly, but just seeing your starting weight and your freaking Awesome Weight Loss really just motivated the heck outta me. My starting weight and yours are pretty much the same. It is great to see another guy out there who was the same size as me when he started. You have made such tremendous progress!
I know I've had way more to drink than normal today, I also had a good sweat but I've not been peeing as much as I would think. No sunburn but I will pound some more water before I hit the sack. Good tip.

Unofficial WI in today as my coach was sick today. My scale showed a 6 pound loss, so I'm pretty happy with that. That's 22 pounds in 3 weeks. Have a good one guys!

Got an odd question for you men. Has anyone else noticed reduced pressure when urinating while following this protocol?

If anything, it's the other way for me. Man there is a lot of force now.
