The Southwest Cheese Curls are really good and crunchy. And the portion is huge, in my opinion so you could munch on them all day.

It was very hard first 3 days. I was struggling. But what I have done is that I keep only what I need in my fridge, everythin else that is not part of this place is gone. Also I am always looking for sugggestions too, as right now I feel as if im always hungry and although im sticking to the plan, the food, the protein packs and veges, It feels like my weight is the same... but its only been 4 days... So I am not sure how to really monitor my progress. Good luck! You will do grea t:-)
Welcome Deeps! Don't worry, just do what the plan says and you'll do fine. I lost weight that I had given up all hope of ever losing, so it can be done. If you like the chai tea idea, also try mixing the vanilla pudding or butterscotch pudding with iced chai tea to make a drink - it's great. I get the Stash decaf chai so I can have it at night.

I also found the 4 cups of vegees daunting at first, and can only handle so many raw vegees before my stomach complains, but then I started cooking them first and throwing the soup in for lunch, and it was great. Became my regular lunch. I did a stir-fry with the olive oil for dinner almost every night, and a big salad with those vegees on it, and my meat. It becomes pretty routine, once you figure out your favorite ways to cook things. It is more work, but it will taste much better than any of the packaged junk we used to get at the store.

I just started making the spinach smoothies and lordy are they good...vegees and chocolate....doesn't get any better than that!

Good luck !

I LOVE them! I also love the salt/vinegar chips. Funny, I had never tried the 'regular' versions before and thought, 'what an odd combination,' but now I really like it, and the IP chips have some heft to them so they don't just melt in your mouth immediately.

Hi, the first 5 days are the worst. I used to be a teacher in Brooklyn, but since having kids I am a stay at home mom. The first 5 days are the worst! Promise in a few days you will not be hungry at all, the urge to eat will be more of a habit than hunger. My typical day is Cappuccino drink in blender with ice and WF choc syrp. Lunch crispy cereal pancakes with walden farm syrp..so delicious and I can chew something! Around 4 I have a salad and some veggies. Dinner meat and Veg and then my restricted snack in the evening. Stick with it you will do great! If you are really starving my Dr. said I could have and extra packet in the day the first week.

Unhappy Five Fries

I started the diet last Wednesday and the week has been very difficult for me. I have not lost a pound or a inch. I am really picky about pre-packaged food so I am just trying to figure out what I can eat. I have it down to a handful of items so far which is good. There are many that I have not tried yet and some that I had to spit out!! My kids had grilled hamburgers last night and I did the hamburger wrap thing. They wanted fries and I ate 5 of them! It was unbearable. I once could eat anything I ever wanted and have slowly gained 2-3 pounds every year. I never looked at a label. I have started many diets and have never stuck to them. I have made no other mistakes but the five fries and I am starting over today. I need you all for support and am encouraged by your success.

Default Ideal protein and low fat cheese

Can someone explain to me why we can't have a 50 calorie cheese stick with less than one carb in it instead of our ounce of skim milk?? When I asked at the Dr. my coach said "cause you can't" but didn"t know why.

Hello Before 50
I am on Day 4 and it seems to be getting easier each day. Here's a trick for the hamburger... I made the big mac in a bowl recipe and it tasted just like a big mac. I even wanted more! You can find the recipe by searching the threads.
Good luck
