The mirror has become my friend instead of my enemy. And I like clothes again!

My migraines also pretty much disappeared, even during Tom.
My eczema has vastly improved.
I look better at 40 than I did at 30!
And I am still amazed that I continue to lose inches, even though I am not really losing pounds anymore.

BACK PAIN!!! No more, well I should say slim to none! Which is huge for me. I was in a major car accident and have suffered ever since. It knocked my spine 2inches to the left! And my back is like a knot grave yard! lol But dont get me wrong I still have pain, but I dont wake up with back pain anymore in the middle of the night, or from sitting or standing.. The inflamation has gone down dramaticly. I love it. Especially since i'm allergic to perscription and over the counter pain and inflamation medication like tylonal, ib, or asprin, so it's great that it's one less pain that i have to just "deal with"

I stand up straighter without the belly pulling me down, and the hump I used to have on my back, right below the neck, has gone. I started wearing belts again! They come in handy when I'm wearing an older pair of pants that are too baggy, keeps them from falling off.

My plantar facsiitis is gone. My bloodwork numbers went from dangerously high levels to almost normal. I have more confidence, I feel better and I definetely look better.

I've been working in an elementary school for three years now and for that whole time, I've had cold after flu after cold - I was always sick! I started IP in the middle of February and haven't had so much as a sore throat since!

I also haven't had any heartburn and my energy levels are so much higher than they've ever been. I feel great, in every way, and I'm so thankful.

What a fantastic thread!

Wow, that's amazing! I hadn't thought about the immune system and IP helping with things like colds, but it makes sense. If the body is not having to deal with the low-level inflammation caused by high-glycemic foods (sugar, white flour, etc.), then it can use resources to keep infections at bay. I have rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia and have definitely noticed a drop in the flare-ups since being on IP.

What a nice benefit! Good for you!

I wear a belt - before all my pants had elastic waists. Normal blood levels. No more meds. My cardiologist now talks about food choices with me instead of what strain the weight is having on my heart. Do not shop in plus size stores. Fit comfortably in airline seat. Can enjoy all the rides at Disney and walk thru the parks. People stopped asking me "Do you feel alright?". Now the comments are " You look ten years younger and what is the name of that diet?" and " How did you lost all that weight so fast?" The positive comments just keep coming and that is my inspiration and motivation to keep it off...
