Awww, the life of a teacher. How many other professions do you know where you feel guilty if you want to enjoy your days off?
Have fun with your new car and take the day off --> from another teacher

Good morning! Today was my own personal WI (officially go in on Wednesday, but today is 3 weeks since we started) and I'm down 17.4 pounds total, 4.2 in the last week! According to my measurements, I've lost about 2.75 inches in the last week, for a total of 12.25. Yesterday I wore a pair of size 16 jeans to work and they were comfortable - I was very happy!

This morning I'm taking my son to an Easter egg hunt, then I probably ought to get the house cleaned up and some cabinet doors painted. I may even get some knitting done this afternoon. Have a great weekend, everyone!

Off to another car show. This time it's sunny, so it should not be canceled. We've been cleaning and polishing. It's not a show car, but without a garage for it, touch-ups are always needed. I am making an omelet right now and will take my water and a double chocolate bar since all there will be is greasy, fatty foods and sugary drinks. We love the ego boost with people oohing and aahing and saying, I've never seen a Corvair station wagon before. (I will put up that particular car as the avatar)

Everyone have a great OP day.

Just looking forward to spending the beautiful day with my wonderful husband. I have to think of things to do now that eating isn't my only thought. I think we're going on a hike.

love your car! Have fun at the show! I remember, when I first got the Mustang restored, I went to a national Mustang show and among the 400+ cars there, it was the only '69 Mustang Coupe, as most people collect the fastbacks and older models. I won 2nd place in Daily Driven! It was a blast...

Good morning everybody! Hope you have a great weekend.

Easter makes me think of the hats, new gloves and shoes I used to get, and of the Easter egg hunt I made for my little sister. I had some doozy hats in those days...

Enjoy the hike! If my hubby wasn't working today, I'd be doing that too!
Hope it's warmer where you are than here.

Going on a hike up Cowles Mountain this morning, a pretty good climb up, 2 miles each way. The temperature is supposed to get up to 80-degrees today. And then to the annual Harmonica Fest.
Enjoy your Saturday!

Good morning everyone, This is Wuv.....I am on mom's name since I am at her house. Yesterday I had 2lbs of crawfish, boild onions and mushrooms. Got on the scale this morning and I was down 5lbs this morning!!....Mom has the OLD time Dr scale, which I have NEVER been able to weigh on under 250 and this morning I got it to 249!!.....every scale is different of course. Her scale is always 5lbs MORE but my goal the last time I was here I told her the NEXT time I come "home" I wanna be UNDER 250 and I DID IT!!!....so I was super excited this morning!. Today we are BBQing for lunch then I am back on the road to go back to Gulfport. I hope everyone had a good Friday and an even better Saturday!

Exclamation Easter dinner moved to a resturant

Dinner was going to be at my mother in laws and I was bringing a salad so I knew I would be ok but now they have decided to go to a restaurant and I am worried that being so new and so many people pigging out (my family treats holidays as a reason to really eat all the things you normally avoid) They are not supportive they are go ahead its a holiday you can diet tomorrow kind of people (they think they are being nice like telling you to enjoy yourself) so anyway now I am worried I really don't want to go but how do you tell family no to Easter but I am honestly scared I will go off program with all the amazing food around me I am not trying to be a wussy but honestly I am worried. Please help me give me ideas and a plan so I can get thru this or can I just tell them no thank you? My husband is not going he has to work so I would be going solo.

Happy Saturday everyone. Today we are going on the Funky Chicken Coupe tour here in Austin. We don't own chickens and don't plan on getting any, but this is just another wacky Austin activity. I guess this is just another reason why Austin's slogan is Keep Austin Weird. It's suppose to be tour of people's backyard chicken coups. Some look like castles, one I hear is a zen chicken coupe. Should be strange enough.

Tonight we are going for our second sedar dinner and just hoping they have something for me to eat. I'm sure I will find something.

Happy Passover and Happy Easter everyone!
