Terrible week for me... I'm up. Going back to Phase 1 for at least a few days to get things under control. I had my free day on Saturday (I'm in maintenance) despite being up a little over my ideal range, so I'm going to have to pay for it now.

Thanks for the challenge! Can we do another after february??

if this isnt the best place, i apologize - feel free to move me. I was thinking about making a resource list that people would find helpful for deciding the best diet to be on. My idea is a book of testimonials, by diet, with the diets description and other info. Basically, i figure testimonials (real ones, not the ones created to sell the diet lol) are the best thing to look at when selecting a diet. If anyone has any suggestions, or better ideas as far as what you'd like to see if you were trying to decide: PM me. Im really interested in what is the most trustable/valid as theres so much tricky sales tactics dilluting good honest advice, its hard to know when we're being marketed to sometimes.

Bump!

Plus I get to add 3 pounds gone to the spreadsheet! Go me!

4.6 lbs gone in 2 weeks. It is getting harder for me for some reason. I need to refocus and get my head in the right place. Shake up my cooking, go to the soups or something. Against all advice I started to work out, because I don't want to sag all over the place. Not that it will prevent it completely, but hopefully will minimize it. And I know, I am gaining muscle, that contributes to slower drop on a scale. But my head starts doing all kinds of acrobatics doubting every decision. Ughhh. I just need to trust the process, and stop looking for immediate results/gratifications. Here is my vent for the week.

Row Walker, I think it's a great idea, to have testimonials from real people, not from the ones that have been previously screened by seller of the diet.

And great progress everybody! You all inspire me and keep me going, help me make right choices one meal at a time!

Down 5 lbs this week - yeehaw! Goal is to lose 100 lbs total by end of challenge.

Coach said to start doing some cardio and Pilates... anyone else tried Pilates before or know of any good DVDs? Thanks in advance!

Hope you all have a fabulous week! :)

No, she told me that I should limit myself to two restricted packets per week; however, if I'm exercising, then I can have a restricted carb that day. She suggested doing cardio/walking 30 minutes a day. It seemed odd to me after having read through the forums... I just wondered if anyone else had heard of this or had suggestions? I can see doing some Pilates to help stretch and tone loose skin, etc.

I would recommend Pilates instead of the cardio, just my opinion. I did 30 minutes of walking and I noticed a drop in my weightloss. Pilates focuses more on your core and toning and strengthening. I would just get something for beginners or if you have a DVR, record something from the fitness channel.

I have just recently started doing yoga for the stretching and toning on the Wii.....I started at 15 mins and have worked myself up to 45 mins. I do a few yoga poses, then stretches and some balancing games, boxing then finish with a 5 mins fast walk. I have not added a packet because I don't break a sweat or anything, I just take it slow, mostly just for toning. I have had a restricted EVERYDAY for the last 9 months, I eat it for breakfast. I did an experiment on myself, 2 weeks I went without restricted and the loss was no different so I continue to have my restricted daily

Thanks for sharing your experience and for the suggestion - I'll have to do that to try out what I like before buying a DVD! :)
