Before & Now Pix...Nov/Dec 2011 Edition. - 3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

I have seen many inspiring photos of "before & now" pix in various signatures, but havent seen a thread on the home page collecting everyone's together.

So anyone who is willing to share your success to help others see that Ideal Protein really makes a visual difference to... feel free to post away!

Here is a visual update of my journey so far. To be honest, when I took the "before" pictures, I didnt really think I would lose enough weight to ever need them (let alone show publically!), so I did not take front/side Before pix with clothes on (my 9 year old took the pictures as I was heading out the door to go water jogging, so I also didnt check to see if they were even in focus.)

Since those were my only real reference shots, the updated shots are in as much of the same place as possible to be able to compare side by side. So as much as I would rather hide in "slimming black" pants and shirt, this is the reality.

I'm about 2 lbs from my halfway mark. (And as I said before, my evil Wii Fit still screams "YOU ARE OBESE! YOU ARE OBESE!" even after 64+ lbs lost. haha!) but am very happy with how I feel and its rewarding how many people are really noticing the change now.

Feel free to also share your most hilarious compliments. (Trust me. I am HAPPY to have rude compliments at this stage. Its easy to laugh now.)

Here are a few of mine:

"are you on a diet? You have gone from grossly overweight to just obese in such a short time."

"Wow! You aren't nearly as fat as you used to be!"

"congratulations! Is this going to be the first Christmas in a long time where Santa Claus doesnt ask to sit on YOUR lap?"

Wow Finns are outspoken! These are what I'd consider left handed compliments, too funny.

Is it terribly cold there now? We have had -27 C several nights in a row now. I know Finland gets long hours of dark in the winter like we do here.

Came back to edit about my pictures. I lost 40 pounds before IP when I finally realized I couldn't handled wheat. But then I stalled or yoyoed up or down 5 pounds. I couldn't lose anymore until I found IP. The first pic is 10 years ago with my mom on the left. I had been asked that day if I was my brother's mother. He was 51 and I was 53.I was 204. The second one is 5 years ago with my daughter, I was 181. The last one is last week. I am 138.

wuv... I love your monthly update shots and your sig picture inspired me to show my own progress and not worry if I am not at my goal yet.

patns... its dark as pitch now, but not horribly cold yet. (0 Celcius today) I know I will regret saying this, but I look forward to the snow.

Thanks Steven, that is why i don't mind posting my pics. I want people to know how well this program works IF you stick with it, pics tell 1000 words that is for sure. ITs the best inspiration there is for yourself. I suggest everyone do it. Pat even has pics now,

The far left was after I had lost about 15 pounds on my own, then the middle is Christmas last year and the right is March of this year. I'm right about where I was in March, now. I'll update more after we do Christmas pictures.

This will let you see my skinny little husband!

And for the record, the dress I'll be dancing in this coming March will be shorter than any of those and fancier!

If there was ever motivation needed for this diet, your pictures are it!! And you have the big smiles at the end to show how good you feel about yourselves. Fantastic. Fabulous. Wonderful.

Okay, I'm trying to put it in my signature, since that's the only way I know how to do it. "Before" is a 4th of July party last summer. "After" is about a month ago.

Wow!! What a great thread you started in here!

I used to stay away from the camera all the time since I got to a point where I really hated my pictures and could not recognize myself in them.

Last Christmas, I was at my heaviest and there was one picture that my sister-in-law took of me and posted over Facebook, I looked like I was drowning in my rolls of fat and it seemed to me that my face was not my face it was something else.

Anyway, I really did not take any pictures to follow up my progress, something I now regret, nevertheless, I have this picture of myself from my Halloween party at the office with the one from last Christmas.

Again, this is a great thread and I hope to see tons of pictures.
