Hi, turn that frown upside down!
What I would suggest (not sure if anyone else did) is to switch up your foods!
If you have been doing the same things-menu wise...change it all!
For instance my first 3 weeks I ate broccoli and cauliflower EVERYDAY!! And then the weightloss went from 5-6 pounds to 2...the coach and dr said cut out those 2 and try something different...back up to 5 the week after I did that.
Haven't had them since, I figure my system is sensitive to those and I stay away from them. I've adopted turnips...never thought I would do that...but I'm loving them!
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the replies folks.

Yes, I know the liquid has weight, I was weighing 1st thing after my morning pee.

Ok, I put the scale away and will see what it says next week.

I have been eating every day, I'll try something different today. I've been rotating my salad veggies a lot tho ... sprouts, cukes, radish, bell peppers, red onion.

Default Dont like vegetables - HELP please

I am new to IP. I am in my fourth week. I too am discouraged because I seem to have hit a plateau.

My problem is I dont like vegetables. I do eat lettuce and cucumbers. I have been trying out other vegetables to develop a taste bud for them.

What part do the vegetables play in the program? Could this be my problem? If so, please give me advice.

My coach seems to be inexperienced with the program. I am requesting another coach.

Droidgigi - you mention you were eating turnips and like them. How do you cook them, what do you do with them? Thanks

Hello all. I am following a Dutch diet called SanaSlank, it sounds equivalent to IP, High Protein drinks etc...with salad and veg. Anyway, I lost 10lbs at my first weigh in and yesterday at my second weigh in I lost 200grms!!! Bummer. Usually a disappointment like that makes me give it all up and oreder pizza. I have just read all the above posts and am inspired to continue. Still fighting those food demons. Many thanks everyone.

Your body has to catch up with the 10lbs lost your first week, don't give up stick with it....You will see results if not in pounds you will see it in inches!!

Many times when our immune systems are run down like fighting a cold your body will go into "protection" mode and store every single calorie you eat to fight off the illness. This could account for no weight loss as well.
My good friend said not to get discouraged with even losing a little of weight each week. She told me to go hold up a 15 oz bottle of salad dressing and feel how heavy that is and that it represented 1lb. So it puts it into perspective.
Don't get discouraged look forward to the end result !
