They are made by Premier Nutrition. High protein shake 30g of protein. Red and white box they only come in chocolate at Costco. There are 18 in a box they are regular 24.99 and are $5.00 off this week. Good luck!

Anyway I just wanted to throw out a WORD OF CAUTION that while this is a really neat way to eliminate some water, we should be mindful that lemon juice, unfortunately, contains quite a few carbs.

When I first started the diet I asked if I could switched lime juice instead of lemon, my coach looked up the carbs on both (around 5-6 carbs per lemon/lime yield). It was sort of an eye opener for me, I never thought there were so many carbs in that! Anyway, the info on how many carbs in it vary from site to site, but just beware that they do contain carbs. Before I started on IP I used to drink water with lime juice every single day (since it's also supposed to help speed your metabolism), but now I do it max 2 times a week.

Have a good OP day everyone!
I have a bottle of Realemon lemon juice (from concentrate) that is all 0's for calories, fat, carbs, sugar and protein for 1 teaspoon. For the realemon 1/2 cup = 1/2 fresh lemon juice or 3TBSPs = juice from 1 medium lemon. This also is available in lime juice.
I also have a box of True Lemon crystallized lemon substitute and it also is 0's for everything. 2 packages of this = 1 TBSP of fresh lemon juice, or 1 pkg = 2 fresh lemon wedges. You can also get this in the lime packages.
Do you think either 1 of these would be okay to use instead of the fresh lemons since there are no carbs in it?

Hey there! I am a newbie, introduced myself on the introduction thread but this is my first "real" post.

I am soooo excited! Had my first weigh-in tonight and I lost 5 pounds in 5 days! I also gained 2.5 pounds of muscle, my body fat is now in the "normal" range and my body age dropped 9 years! That is all just amazing to me, especially considering how great I feel. I am loving this. I haven't experienced anything negative at all so far. I don't feel deprived at all, I haven't had any cravings like I had expected I would....I just feel wonderful!

Thanks for everything I've learned here already...this place is fabulous! <----Love this guy!

Wow, the flu season has already started, I got my flu shot last week. I would just do like the above poster and drink broth and I would even eat vegatable soup, drink tons of H2O and take vitamin C or Airborne. Hope you feel better soon!

Off to quilt stores to find some fabric for a bargello table runner , nothing I like more than fabric shopping with girlfriends.

Well, the TMI subject: the hemoroids are still bad and bleeding, I hate to call the doc, but I may have to. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Have an OP day!

I had the same problem of hemarrhoids........Vit E helped like a miracle angel.......

Default Ketostix Strip

Here I am again - I'm just not a happy camper
My coach gave me some Ketostix Strips to confirm if I'm actually in Ketosis as my losses are quit slow.

Has anybody had any experience with these?
I just tried it before I ate dinner (wasn't sure if there was a specific time)

Basically the read out is
Negative
5 (trace)
15 (small)
40 (moderate)
80 (large)
160

Mine showed 5 - trace
Now I'm really wondering what the heck I am doing wrong.....
Emailed my coach but haven't heard back from her yet
Would love to know if others have tried and what their readout was

NSV for me. I started the program the Tuesday after Easter and have lost 57.4 pounds. I have never enjoyed walking or doing exercise of any kind. I am going to Hawaii in about 8 weeks and am hoping to be at goal or near goal before I go on the trip. So today, I decided that it was time to add exercise to my daily activity. My husband came walk with me and for the first time in years, it was so easy to walk. I walked 2 miles and could have walked more. It is amazing how good it feels not to be carrying around the extra weight. Hopefully the scale really shows it next week. I love this program and wish I would learned about Ideal Protein years ago.

So this is it, the beginning of Thanksgiving weekend starts tomorrow and I'm starting to get nervous. I'm stopping at my grandma's for a night and its going to be interesting explaining that I'm on a diet. Shes always saying "oh you've gotten bigger, so healthy!!" haha so she might not understand why I'm trying to lose. I'm bringing a bar with me so maybe she wont try and feed me sweets!

tomorrow71 - I will try the vit E, thanks I have been miserable may call the doc in the morning.

itsAboutTime congrats on the big 40 loss, fantastic
yvettski congrats on the Big 30 loss, that's what I am hoping for this week or next!

The ketostix should show trace if you are drinking all the water you are supposed to. If the ketostix are darker, it doesn't indicated a "moreness", just a higher concentration. So, you are doing fine.

Congrats to all you losers. lol. Welcome newbies
