Congratulations to everyone on their losses.

NavyMommy I hope the baby gets to feeling better.

We have a busy day ahead, got my rtd shakes ready to go so I can stay OP today. I have a wired NSV but I found my libido that has been in hiding for a long time! It's funny though, my husband that was totally against this diet and who has fought me most of the time about it, is now TOTALLY on board. Lol

Good Morning Everyone.
So today is day 12. and I had a NSV yesterday, I have a second job - DELIVERING PIZZA AT PIZZA HUT!!!! And I had a shift last week that I got through, but last night the shift was alot longer, and the managers screwed up alot of pizza's so everyone that works there was eating away... I stayed OP. andd... later that evening had to attend a shag (more commonly a social? a stag? a stag and doe? etc) they were handing out chocolate bars, had chips on the table, and everyone was drinking away.... I had a club soda with limes and lemons, and stayed OP!!!!
Tonight... I have a bachlorette to go to, at a resturaunt. My best friend (the MOH) called and said she asked them to serve veggie platters as part of the menu (for me then Im suppose to pick my fiance up from a friends birthdady that Im suppose to make an appearance at.
I knew this weekend was going to be hard, I just wished I would have been feeling better by now. Still feeling like S***. But its almost like I know I havent given myself the choice, Im just sticking to it no matter what!!! just feeling like S*** while doing it (for now, it will get bettter soon I know!
Hope everyone else is having a less tempting, more enjoyable weekend OP!!!!

Good Morning fellow IP'ers. Congratulations to everyone on their weight losses and NSV. I made my 50 pound loss today in 4 months. I love this program, with no other weight loss program have I had this kind of results this quick. I find myself really reading labels now for all the sugars, carbs, etc, can't believe how high some things are. My DH, who started IP when I did has lost 48 pounds, and has been on phase 2 for 3 weeks, and on Monday will be starting phase 3, so picked up his groceries for him yesterday. Seemed funny picking up fruit, breads, and yogurt haven't had those in the house since May.I am looking forward to when I can have those foods, but in the meantime will enjoy my IP foods and veggies. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning!
Well I managed a good nights sleep even with all the stress, I really should learn how to let it go...Big NSV for me, it dawned on me this morning that all this week I have not felt the urge or the pull to use food to sooth myself. Huge leap for me. I am sitting here stewing and over-thinking this morning though. I need some fun today but I have no idea where to look for it atm. I need to for my walk and try to clear my head. BTW I did weigh in on the Wii today, it hasnt budged at all....quite likely it's the stress or possibly even that I've cut back a bit too far on the carbs. Guess we'll see how WI goes on Tuesday, I'll be joyous for a 3 lbs loss.
Have a great OP day everyone!!

Hi everyone!!! Sounds like everyone is handling challenges so well. I was nervous this week becuase my birthday (big 5-0) was Thursday. At work we have a birthday club where we collect money for a gift and usually a cake. Some of my coworkers know that I am dieting, but I wasnt sure if they knew this was a no-cheat program. To my surprise instead of a cake or cupcakes they made me a sugar-free jello cake (well, just jello in a nice ring mold). That was one of the nicest things anyone has done for me in a long time. With the support of my family (which is awesome) and my friends and co-workers I feel like I can plow through and do this!!! I am down 25 pounds since August 7th and can't wait to see more come off!!!

Stay strong and OP!!!

That's so great your office is so supportive! I haven't yet told anyone (aside from DH), because honestly all my friends are skinny and really into the whole foods / real food eating plans. I've been eating like that for a year (even grind my own grain to make bread!) and I still haven't lost the weight. I needed IP, diet plans aren't one size fits all.

Thanks NavyMommy! It has been a long time since I have been this weight, and feel so much better. My cholesterol is the lowest it has ever been and blood pressure is really good now. I am so glad our Dr. recommended the IP program to us.
Hope your baby feels better soon and that you can get some rest to. I remember those days with my children, it is so hard on us to see our little ones sick and suffering. Take care.

Hello fellow washingtonian! . Don't see a lot of people on here from WA so I thought I would say hi. Do you go to a clinic in Bonney Lake? There are more and more popping up in the NW. Have a great weekend and stay dry.

Very sweet of your office to help and support you without getting a Cake or cupcakes. Not too often that happens they usually just think of themselves and a way to get a treat.....lol

Hope everyone's having a great week-end!

WI#7 -3 Was hoping for a decade change but hopefully next week. I'm going to cut out the red peppers this week as they were my main veggies (at least 2 cups a day) and see what happens next week.

Quick question, i got a new italian salad dressing at walmart. Its from a company called Gyro. Its a 0/0/0 dressing. Here are the ingredients
water
vinegar
spices
salt
maltodextrin
garlic
xanthan gum
guar gum

Is it ok to use?

Hello to all. Second day of alternatives, and I'm having headaches for some reason. They will pass though. I've been researching some really delicious looking recipes that are healthy, even ones that aren't I'm creating new ingredients to make them such, and cooking for my boy made him some curried pineapple rice and he LOVED it! Was very happy cuz he thought it was fried rice, his fav, and when I told him it wasn't he was very surprised. Looks like weening him off of greasy, fatty foods is going to be easier than I thought <3. Can't wait to be on maintenance so I can try some of the recipes, too! Decided that once I'm off diet and eating all foods again, I want it to be food WORTH eating. Food I put my heart into, and that I feel good about eating. So I'm going to cook a lot more and be creative with trying to come up with delicious healthy alternatvies. It's much more of a challenge to make tasty food that's healthy, and I love challenges
