The other day I needed to buy a pair of leggings to go under a dress and I bought the size for my weight I was in the beginning of July....totally blocking out that I've lost 20+ pounds. So, needless to say, the leggings kept inching down since they were too big around my waist!

Same here. Bought some summer tops on clearance at American Eagle in a size large. The are way too big and frumpy looking.

Speaking for myself, weight loss (and gain) is all a mental mindset. I hate that it is, but it's true.

I could, but theyre big around the arms too. Lesson learned, no more shopping until I reach goal. I did however order a size 6 jeans because my 8's are getting too big.

I think in general BMI charts are pretty accurate for me. I also go by the way I am feeling and fitting into clothing. I don't worry about becoming too OCD as far as dieting or exercise. Lord knows I was just the opposite for SOOO many wasted years..maybe I can balance out the years a little bit!!! Also, if you haven't had any bloodwork done recently I also think a trip to your healthcare provider would be a good idea. When I saw how my bad cholesterol and blood pressure had dropped and how much lower my heart rate was I was amazed! So was my doctor! It gave me new inspiraton.

Bella, your post sounds like me and then I looked at your stats and we are at the same spot. I am just now feeling good too that my rolls aren't showing too badly. I am hoping for a big loss Wed. but the scale isn't showing it this am. Last week was only 1 1/4 pounds so I figured I was due for a bigger loss. It's slowing down as far as big losses.

I tried on a few reception dresses for my wedding - and my mom (who is the biggest critic) kept telling me how thin I looked in them and I just refused to believe her. I kept seeing big bulges and fat arms...
Even though all the compliments are coming in, my mind really hasn't caught up and it is getting weird for me haha - I can wear old clothes again but can't see myself as smaller!

Yes, same here. I still see my huge Italian mama arms. Maybe if we took more flattering pictures of ourselves...
