NSV today. I am wearing some pants that I haven't been able to wear all summer. I was so happy to put them on today but then I started thinking, "I won't be able to wear these next year at all" Too bad because they are very pretty. I got them from the most amazing thrift store in St. Petersburg Florida.

Then I started thinking: Perhaps instead of storing away my summer clothes this year, I should just get rid of them. After all, I'll be down A LOT by next summer and I certainly won't be wearing the same size. In fact, 16 and 14 will be falling off me. It's a risk of course because suppose I don't stick to it and am still the same size? But I have a very small house and would like to be brutal and declutter and perhaps it would keep me on track knowing that I have NO CLOTHES at all if I don't lose the weight.

It's a thought.

Well as anticipated, only down 1lb. My coach kinda pissed me off as she was saying that if i do everything right, there's no reason i shouldn't lose...she was almost not beleiving me when i told her i hadn't cheated at all and was following the protocole perfectly and not even having any (but 1 pancake) restricted.

She also told me that i don't need to eat all my food at the same time, meaning i could eat my lunch and my veggies at 2pm. She said the most important thing is to eat when you're hungry to prevent the body going in starvation mode.

Congratulations! It must be such a great feeling to say "just 2 more weeks" I can't wait to be there, and you look great!

We worked on cleaning our house all weekend long. We've got 3 giant bags (mostly "big lady" clothes and "outgrown baby clothes" to donate) as well as a lot of recycling of boxes that had been lying around. We had our handyman work on painting the ceilings of our house this weekend. Our house was built in 1956, and the ceilings hadn't been painting in at least 15 years. It looks SO much better! The great thing is that we've found that the PurpleHeart organization will come to our house and take donations. You set it up online and then put the bags outside the morning that they are in the neighborhood.

We go on vacation Wednesday and I SO need a break from work. We are headed to a star party in W. Virginia, and we are renting a small RV. I am really excited to pack all our stuff once and then have it all when we get there. My hubby is so happy that he won't have to pitch a tent.

Have a great day everyone. I will probably start the daily thread a few more times this week, but then will be MIA for about 6 days, without Internet or cell service. Ah, the thought of no cell service. YAY!
Sounds like you had a very productive weekend. I love that feeling of getting rid of things you don't need anymore!

Enjoy your vacation, I know we will miss you while you are gone.

BTW, I googled your location and you are only a short drive from my sister's place!

I have now reached my pre-pregnancy weight and find that all my fat has shifted in the 4 intervening years. I suppose that's normal after giving birth, but I can't say I like it. I never had a big belly at 180 before and now I do. The most disturbing thing is that I was a 36C before, and now I'm a 36DD - same weight. I thought they were supposed to go back after pregnancy. Will they disappear in the next 20 lbs?
I think it depends on each person. I haven't had kids so my experience is different but, all I lost was band size and 1 cup size in the total near 90 pounds I dropped.

I'm wearing some capris I should not be today. They are falling off bad. They are another fave oldie so I thought I had to get them in one more time since it's suppose to be blazing hot this week again. Not a good idea.

Have a great Monday!
I remember that moment. I hated missing out on getting one last chance at wearing a favorite item. Some things I would just "blow right by" as the pounds came off to fast for a tailored item.

MMMM... can't wait to try that wing recipe! It sounds great.

I picked up a couple of packs of the broccoli cheddar soup this week, as my coach finally had some in stock. I remember, maybe 2Ride having some good ideas for it. If I get time, I will go back through some old posts. If anyone remembers off-hand what the recipes were, would you mind posting here? thanks

I just got some of the new broccoli cheese soup too. I wasn't able to do the first batch because of the msg. I am really looking forward to trying it this week.

My sister's new boyfriend is coming over for dinner tomorrow so we can all meet him for the 1st time, so it will be a huge family meal. I think I talked them out of homemade pizza and into a roast with roasted carrots (and potatoes & gravy for the others).

My size 14 jeans are all feeling really loose in the waist & thighs - hips still need to catch up a bit before I can go down to a 12. I'm on my last pair of work pants. I don't think I'll be able to wear them after next week!
Congratulations on the change it pant size!! I hope you will be able to find some things this week to wear at work next week.

Just a question, you aren't planning on eating roasted carrots are you? I am sure you know they aren't approved for eating on phase 1 or 2.

Happy Monday! Back to routines and schedules, my favorite! Made it through another weekend OP.

I did not stay in 100% bootcamp this weekend though, but just 1 bar, so not too bad. I wanted to test a theroy that I am hungrier when I eat the restricted items, and I proved myself right. I also was a little stuck on the scale and wanted to shake things up a little bit.

Last week I ate restricted up until Saturday and then went bootcamp from Sat-Wed (my WI day) and had that big loss. So I am thinking that I might do a few days with restricted and then take them out 3-4 days before WI to see if changing things up helps bring on some big losses. We'll see.

Oh- someone asked me in the weekend thread if I notice better losses when I don't eat WF, and the answer is yes.

I hear ya! Mine have gone down 2 inches, I think, since I started and are the same size as when I was my smallest ever measurements in 07/08. I can't wait to see how small they get because they lose so slow! We will widdle them down girl. Have no fear.

Ok tell me why? they help you walk everyday and they keep your butt in place? Other than that... some come slightly wrinkled and have cellulite dimples. Mine has quite a bit of loose skin hanging around but they mostly help me to walk and get up out of a chair when I am sitting... oh and also balance me while sitting.

That's a good way to look at it but they look horrible in shorts!
