Help Please!

  • Hello everyone...so its quite obvious by my name that I'm getting married soon.

    This means BACHELORETTE party!

    So what can I do as far as avoiding all the drinks? I don't want to exit ketosis if I am in it. It's more important to me to stay OP than to have a night out...

    What do you think? I like having Vodka and water with Lime so the juice part is no problem. My coach said absolutely no alcohol though!

    My bridesmaids planned everything already and I started IP a few days ago, so I couldn't tell them to plan something without a night out...now I'm going to be forced to explain myself to everyone who wants to buy me a shot/drink....

    I'm dreading this...anyone have to go through this before?
  • There are a few threads about alcohol, Ill bump them for you....read them, there may be something there that will help you. You could just say you want to remember your night before your wedding and will drink only water with lime/lemon

  • You shouldn't go out of ketosis if you drink something like vodka with lime, but it will definitely slow your losses. Really try to stay away from the creamy, whipped cream shots. Seriously. It isn't worth it since you don't have much to lose and you have a schedule.

    Of course the real answer is don't drink, but if you are going to, make sure you make good choices and don't follow the drinks up with the munchies. You will be starting over if you do. Life happens and we all know it, but you have the power to plan. Good luck!

  • PS - I always "fake it" by having club soda with a lime... looks like a cocktail but totally OP!
  • You can totally find a way to deal with this. Club soda with lime...and if you HAVE to drink there are always skinny girl-esque options.
