I am sure we got in 33 minutes early because of me. I did a no no and stepped on the scale and have stayed the same weight for a few days.. sigh.. reasons for not weighing oneself daily.

T I a sorry about your family emergency I hope everything is better today. I haven't travelled so can't be much help sorry, I think try to get your water in. Hope everything works out and I see you soon.:hug:

I am also wondering how did you start on this program, do u go to an actual IP center? My doc told me about it but honestly I don't think they are too familiar with the program, considering I am her 1st patient on it and they just went to a seminar on it. I am actually worried that I am not doing Phase 1 correctly and I am not sure how long you actually stay on it.....:?:

Any advice would be appreciated. I am just hoping IP really works for me.

miracle noodles are fine, I was going to suggest speaking with Judogirl to see what else you need to know as she just had her training. I think if you follow the sheet and ask questions here you are going to do great. Have a good Sunday.:carrot:

Hope you're all enjoying your day. I was outside all day yesterday painting the deck. Well got one coat on. And it needs another but it's raining today and suppose to rain tomorrow too. So I'll just have to finish it this week. But I must say I got a nice burn on my arms. OUCH, it sure hurt going to bed last night. Well after a long day of painting, DH suggested we go out for dinner. Hum..I was thinking. Ok, let's see what I could have. Well ended up having a greek chicken salad and told them to omit the feta cheese, which I have to say is the best part of a greek salad. But it was very good, light and I felt great afterwards. While DD had cheese capeletti and DH had Rib eye steak and fries. But I did have a couple of bites of his steak and so good and I munched a bit on his veggies. I think we'll be having mussels and shrimp for dinner tonight...yum!!

NSV: Yesterday I had to wear older clothes to paint and it was leggings and a tank top. DH couldn't believe how good I looked, he kept commenting on how sexy I looked and really couldn't keep his hands off of me..lol. TOO FUNNY! I don't know what he will do when I've lost all the weight I need to lose. Maybe this is TMI!! But he said he could really notice a difference now that I was wearing something that fit compared to my big baggy pants. So overall it felt great.

Well guys, hope you all have a great weekend. Keep up the great work. :)

That is a great NSV, we may have to dress you down when you lose more wait so you can get SOME work done. ;)

If you haven't tried MIO yet, I highly recommend it! there are several different flavors - I got Strawberry Watermelon and Berry Pomegranate (haven't tried that one yet). It definitely makes drinking water much more interesting.

I so wish we had that in canada... I haven't been able to find it yet. I miss watermelon and that may just want me want it more... at least that is what I am saying to myself...:D

Happy Sunday Afternoon everyone, have been up since 6, walked the dogs at the off leash and was totally swarmed by mosquitoes they are so bad here, made some mosquito spray for my dogs as they seem to love biting my black dog. Red dog lost another ball at the off leash and got totally muddy so we had to go back to the river so she at least was cleaner and didn't smell. brat of a dog.

My friend gave me 2 huge bags of clothing, from size 5 to size 14. I was going to put everything away for when I might be able to fit into anything. Well I work a size 13 yestereday and I can fit into size 14 pants from Club Monnoco, Only skinny people shop there.
I am so grateful to have such a friend and next weekend (if she isn't working) try on some dresses... It feels so good to get rid of the 18s and I look forward to every weight loss goal I meet as it is that much closer to my goal. Have a great weekend all, and those of us in Canada happy long weekend. Time to go shopping for flowers and get the yard ready for them.

New IP user

Will finish my first week of IP this evening. I could not have done it without this website - y'all are truly awesome!

I still experience hunger in the afternoons. Thank goodness for cucumbers and WF dressings! I am hoping that subsides (like it seems to have for so many of you) soon.

Well, tomorrow starts another week and I am looking forward to it. I will be checking here to see what you all are doing for the upcoming Memorial day holiday weekend. Again, thank you all for being so inspirational!

2 - I have to stick to a schedule of times I eat or I end up crazy hungry.
3 - I use 4 packets per day (started in week 5) and since starting that have lost more weight each week without crazy hunger. Three left me starving all the time no matter how much lettuce I ate.
4 - Even though my coach told me to have rotisserie chicken and ham, I think she may be wrong - I had a little of each and they just left me messed up and hungry (aka starting from scratch all over again).
5 - I no longer have anything in my wardrobe that fits. Yay!
6 - I no longer have anything in my wardrobe that fits, and I'm between sizes so will just have to deal for a few more pounds.. ;)
7 - Am going to start looking at alternative vitamins, perhaps something with a few more "B" vitamins in it.
8 - Nashua Nutrition is a great source for some alternative things. The Choc Soy puffs from Proti-Thin are the exact same as IP, but half the cost. This makes buying extra IP drinks a little easier.

Thank you for posting this!!! I'm hungry all the time too, and my coach and her Regional Mgr. said to try puddings as my "snack" instead. I hate the texture of the puddings, and night time isn't my starving period anyway. I might try to do the 4 packets for a week and see how it goes.

As for the weekend, NSV...I wore a teal dress I haven't fit into in over 2 years! Woo hoo! And I got lots of compliments this weekend. It really helped me to get over this "funk" I was in.

Yes, Miracle Noodles are fine on Phase 1. My clinic/chiropractor sells them.

Mio is a brand name like chrystal light. I believe it's liquid though...and you add it to your water.

Mio is a liquid water enhancer sweetened with Sucralose. It has "zero" everything, so it's great for this diet!

You can find it by the Crystal light in most grocery stores. Look for a small triangle shaped grey bottle with a large "M" on the front.
You can squeeze a few squirts into your water for some delicious flavors! It helps for the days when plain water seems boring.

My favorite flavors are Mango Peach, Strawberry Watermelon, Berry Pomegranate, and Fruit Punch.
I've heard that the tea flavors aren't as good, but I have never tried them personally.

Miracle noodles are not an IP product and I actually never tried them..I said if they don't tell me on my program I can have them..then I avoided them...but you've given me something to check on...:dizzy:

Have been on IP since 4Feb and have lost 40#. This diet works for me as I am not a cook.

Am going to be traveling for the next 6 or 7 months and know that this is going to be a challenge. Eating in Motel is not so bad as I can get veggies and have a 26qt cooler for the car. Finding the product may be more of a challenge as I cannot get the location site on the IP site to work. Guess I will have to call.

Am enjoying the info and comments here.

Beth
retired, widow and happy on the IP diet.
