I did it! I had my first phase 3 breakfast! I was so scared - felt like I was cheating - but it was YUMMY! I had 2 pieces of toast with .75 oz of peanut butter, 1/2 medium banana, (on the toast w/pb) 8 oz. of skim milk with a little chocolate wf syrup, and 1/2 c. of egg beaters. For those of you who are or have been there, does that sound okay? Have a great OP day everyone!

Officially on day one of half-term break, and it's a WI day. Just ate (or rather drank) breakfast, gonna have a shower then chillax and catch up on some tv shows? My big focus is putting my feet up - I have lymphadema in one leg and it can do crazy things to the scale if it's not in optimal condition.
I'm new to the boards, and have just finished four weeks on IP. So far it's been a no brainer, and the only thing I seem to miss is cheese but so far I've resisted the temptation.
Does anyone know the status on ground pork? I made a huge amount of cabbage rolls and casserole this weekend, thinking that ground pork would be a better choice than ground beef. Afterwards I noticed that ground pork isn't on the allowed list. (We did drain the grease/juice off after cooking.) Have I made a mistake?
I'm also interested to hear what most people eat for lunch - the combination of IP and veggies. When I'm at school it's usually a shake and raw veggies, however I'm off this week and so could actually cook something for lunch. (I should mention that I'm also celiac so I'm limited in my IP choices - so none of the crepes or pancakes. I have made a wrap from the potato purée though.) any suggestions are welcome.

I hear ya! However, I found quite a few Paleo recipes so I am excited for after I phase off!
Good morning all! I have a question for you. I have been on the program since the end of April. I had a tubal 4 years ago which really messed with my TOM. A few months ago I went on the seasonal pill which is supposed to only give me a TOM every 3 months. The first 2 months were fine. Now I am spotting all the time, my weight losses have slowed (I think because of exercise and not really being as careful as I should be.) Is this normal for women on IP? I have heard many skip TOM or have every few weeks but to spot all the time? Sorry if TMI.

Have you tried the cauliflower pancake? It's actually more like french toast than a pancake. You also don't combine it with a packet, just egg, vanilla extract, cinnamon and the riced cauliflower.

Congrats on your first P3 breakfast- can't wait to get there! It sounds like you did look at the sheet already so good for you! Success!

Good morning to all!
Good morning! See if you can get your hands on a menu beforehand. I've had a few work lunches where we have ordered or gone out and I've been able to find something each time (even middle eastern food, which I was super nervous about). Just stay away from the creamy sauces, noodles, etc... which I know seems like the entire menu- but they should have stir fries, lighter chicken options, etc. Try googling around for low carb thai food options to get some ideas. Good luck!

Ain't that the truth. Food porn is just NOT always a good thing! Hang in there!

Welcome, Groovycat! Hope you're able to relax properly and keep that leg up! I don't think ground pork is phase 1 legal but I'm not 100% sure, maybe someone else can address? We are supposed to be going for leaner cuts of meat (so I think pork tenderloin is the only one on the sheet, but not sure without looking) but that meal sure does sound delicious and I don't think it's going to derail you at all!
As for lunch, I have ProtiDiet chicken soup (or chicken noodle soup) every day with pureed cauliflower. Sometimes I'll have chili (maybe once a week) instead. I'm a creature of habit and this helps me get my veggies in easily and deliciously... plus it's a good time of year for it! It's good for traveling too, just pouring it into a thermos..
Sometimes I'll also have a restricted snack for 'lunch,' if I'm feeling super lazy. It all depends.
Anyway, welcome again, and check in with us often!

Not TMI at all! Most of us reading this thread bleed (or have)
I am not on BC so I have no anecdotal evidence of my own to offer, but from the back-up birth control thread it sounds pretty normal- fluctuating hormone levels can cause spotting. How annoying though. I hope it goes away!

Morning everyone! Beautiful day here. Love the chilly weather when I wake up, wish it stayed like that all day. Full day of filing for me. Getting ready for office visitors on Friday.
Holly, I have had the spotting on and off this week. It IS frustrating. I had the tubal ligation about 4 years ago too. But I am not taking backup birth control. Am I supposed to be? Yikes! LOL
Hope everyone has a great day

I don't think you need a backup with a tubal on this plan. I am because I am trying to control the TOM. Don't worry.
