Default Egg beaters ?

Ive noticed a few people mention that they eat egg beaters in the morning, and I was just looking at the nutritional info and there isn't much in them other than some protien and 1g of carb. So are they allowed ?? Would they replace a packet ?

I took the liberty of adding them to my menu a while back and the only thing that changed is that my wallet was happy! Make sure to take enough so you get the same protein count as your regular pack. Haven't bought IP omelettes ever since!

Yes, they are a good substitute....but they don't have the same amount of protein in them for the 1/2 c. I generally either add another whole egg or 2 egg whites to the serving size (depending on my hunger that morning). Everyone talks about missing their "big" breakfasts....but I never have, you can make quite the omelet with mushrooms, peppers, spinach, zucchini, etc!

This is what I do in place of meat in the evening...I will make an omelet with veggies and about 1/4 cup of browned italian sausage for flavor. Drain the sausage really well and blot with paper towel to remove as much fat as possible.
